The truth is there is not one online game out there worth playing right now, not a single one, this is not debatable.
ESO seems to be what some of us were waiting for.
Please do not try to cater to everyone. If people want dueling and arena let them go play wow. That is what it is there for.
Please do listen to the lifeless zombies who demand every game fit into their autistic play style of everything having to add up to some formula.
Let the game evolve naturally, there will always be imbalances, just like in nature. Over time these will sort themselves out.
There are seige weapons that can be used in the battlegrounds, anyone can use them.
The last thing I want to deal with is a game that is supposed to be consumed rather than enjoyed. Like oh I did everything here, time for the next one and everyone has to come with me or im wrecking the place.
The whole reward of an MMO is the status of the amount of time you spend there and the abilities it brings you.
Please do not be like WOW and just erase everything everyone has done every 6 months to a year. If people are burned out, that's because they played too much, dont punish the rest of us.
If they threaten to cancel, let them cancel. IF the game is good, the money will roll in regardless, just dont be greedy and blow it.
Technically the game looks sound. Just give it some time before you make drastic changes based on whinny people. The people who dont complain are the ones that you should cater to.
Every single MMo that has come out in the last 7 years has been complete garbage, not debatable. Please do not listen to people about how we need better tanks or more defined groups, if people want that, let them go find it, it is everywhere.
What the complainers want is to have the game cater to their playstyle. In order to succeed the game needs to allow for more than just the cookie cutter approach to life. Where everyone sounds the same, looks the same and does the same thing, that is mental illness.
Please no dueling, no added taunts, no arenas, no trying to please everyone, no walmart game.
Have a vision and have the confidence to stick to it, if you cant, find someone who can.
