ESO Purchase Problem

Post » Fri Mar 07, 2014 4:46 am

I've tried to purchase the Digital Standard Edition in the ESO store but the Buy Now button doesn't work. I can purchase the Digital Imperial Edition, its Buy Now button does work. I've tried using Internet Exploer, Firefox and Google Chrome but the Buy Now button for the Standard Edition simply doesn't work, the button simply turns white then nothing happens. If I click the Digital Imperial Edition I get immediately taken to a page for my billing address, then payment and review and confirmation but none of that happens when I click the Digital Standard Edition Buy now button. Is there some known reason why I can't purchase the edition of the game I can afford to buy?

It's fate. You were meant to buy the Imperial Edition.

It's a sign from the Eight Divines, do not betray there gift.

Seriously though go the the Support page and shoot them an email... they've been helpful with me on issues and usually pretty quick in response. I'm sure they'll fix it, or tell you why it's unavailable.

I did send them an email last week through the support page but I haven't heard anything back so I thought I'd try the forums. Maybe support will get back to me eventually.

Probably only only customer support will be able to help you.

It's a conspiracy to force us all to buy the Imperial Edition.

Alternatively, you can purchase it from a myriad of retailers who often sell it cheaper than ZOS. You'll miss out on 2 days of early access, but maybe you don't care about it.

If you don't want to wait, you can search for a 20% or 25% Greenmangaming coupon for ESO. Then for the same price you can get the digital Imperial edition... or a cheaper standard edition.

Hm, that's sort of odd, at least in my experience. Maybe there reply got sent to your spam folder? Happened to me once so I had say that they were a safe sender.

Thanks ya'll I did find a 20% coupon code for Green Man Gaming after doing a search, it expires tomorrow but I got the Imperial Edition for $64 which was within my budget.

Kraven-The-Red I checked my spam folder thoroughly before I emptied it yesterday, I didn't see anything from support.

When in doubt, buy from Green Man Games. I think they still have the 20% off thing going on.
