While i see the first-responder really devoted fan forum dwellers have begun to attack my thread in massive waves, i wanted to put out a sliver of helpful knowledge, which was actually included in the context of my OP but required a bit of that 3rd grade comprehension skill.

Zen, the currency by which the "cash shop" in neverwinter (or a similar game such as guild wars) can be obtained without spending cash, for example, i can open a limited edition lockbox with a key using AD (gained in-game) which i traded for zen on the exchange, thus i can get the limited edition mount or cosmetic within the lockbox with no charge to me.

Thats not to say there are not big bundles that include a race or exclusive mount, but ESO is already doing that.

TESO actually is P2W, but not for the reasons that the OP stated. Think about it. If you don't pay $15 per month then you can't play. If you can't play then how can you win? P2W scheme revealed!

Alliance points aren't even cash-shop money or anything like that. They are rewarded for competing in PvP, and can be used to receive PvP-oriented rewards.
