Just a thought, if anyone tried.
Just a thought, if anyone tried.
The first thought that appeared to me was: wat? (i'm dutch)
I don't think that the tech in your tablet is advanced enough to support the game.
i cannot take this thread seriously...
I don't think a tablet can support a single-server MMORPG.
If watching streams off of twitch on my iPad counts then yes.
Being able to use a tablet for a map like BF4 does would be nice but I can live with out.
Well, it run on my old laptop, I was just thinking because the technology is progressing. Graphics quality that would be the lowest possible - but it would not be an issue in such case.
I wouldn't think so.
What operating system does your tablet have? Is it one of the supported ones? Tablets in general don't use the same OS as desktop computers.
Does your tablet meet the minimum specs in terms of CPU and RAM?
And, of course, the graphics... tablet GPUS are getting better but they normally aren't as powerful as desktop GPUs, and if they were, the tablet wouldn't have the capacity to cool them.
Not sure why single server has anything to do with a tablet running the client...
And yes, of course its possible. There are tablets with core i7 and core i5 (Surface Pro 2) that can run Skyrim. If they can do that, I'm fairly sure they can run ESO.
I do not have tablet, I just tried on my old laptop that is 2010 and not for graphics games. Just a thought - because there are Windows 8 installed on tablets (are they?).
Might be possible, perhaps if you dial down the subsampling, texture and shadow settings, on one of the Win8 tablets like the Surface Pro 2 or the Asus t100, which can run a number of other games including http://youtu.be/fx529M8xaBM?t=7s and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzfw_3SToME, for example.
T100 is Atom CPU I believe which is far, far from the performance of the Surface Pro 2 (which is like a midrange laptop). I dont think any of the Atom tablets would run ESO very well even if they can - they have less performance than a Snapdragon 800.
Dell and Samsung have Win8.1 tablets as well, though I dont think Samsung has made any new ones for a while (like Core i7 2XXX series)
hell while we're at it why not try to run it on a potato or let me go dig out my old pentium 4 OHhh such power lol.
That could be nice, I mean probably not only for ESO, but somethimes there is nothing to do in travel and not all are sink in facebook. The next problem is then with network speed, but if there is WiFi then should not be any problem.
Dont think it can run on any current tablets, at least not run good. Now the Asus TD300 tablet may be able to run the game though the tablet hasn't been released yet.
my little craptop has the following main specs:
1GB dedicated video RAM (AMD radeon HD 6470M)
6GB DDR3 RAM (not that horrible tbh)
1,65GHz dual-core (AMD E450)
then some other horribly bad stuff for gaming, yet i can play with about 15fps in cyrodiil with 20-30 players on screen, this is with lowest possible settings.
I bought the turd 2 years ago, and even then it was bad.
My guess would be if your laptop has about the same specs as mine, then you're good to go on almost all PvE content. PvP will be a little harder. Lucky me, this weekend my new pc will be built and i can finally game on ultra
AAAAAH! As was already stated, bloody Skyrim run on current tablets. Have people been hiding under a rock the last year? The TD300 bring nothing that hasnt been available for a long time now.
Tablets aren't just iOS, Android, and Win8 devices, guys. Touchscreen laptops can also be tablets if they can fold into one, and can certainly have the latest laptop parts.
The question is how would you look, move, and use abilities as efficiently as controller and k+m users?
Edit: lol k+b? I meant k+m.
What would be good is an app like some other games have
Well, I can run ESO on my crappy notebook, so it probably can run on pretty much anything.
Probably, but whether it has steady and playable FPS is another thing.
I play everything right now on my Razor Edge Pro tablet. I do get some lag with 100+ people in RvR but most people did during the beta stress test.
Surface Pro and Surface pro 2 could definitely run it on low settings.
They do have i5s
