Mostly UV mapping. I have tried to follow countless tutorials. And listen to what others have told me. Yet, for the love of god, I cannot seem to texture it properly.

The UV map is way to hectic looking, which causes so many blurs and distortions within the model. Which, I have tried making seams in a multitude of fashions and or splitting and e.c.t. I did progress slightly further in understanding then normal though. I managed to get rid of the blurry sections of the textures while using the create seam tool. Yet, now, I am dealing with Lines that seem to cut through texture, instead of the texture being seamless.

Oh that MOD. I am on about black moss!

p.s - I have no idea how to fix that mask. Might be worth messaging some texture modders.

Oh Black Moss: HHAHAHA. Well, once I get over my brief intermission {AKA feeling slightly lazy about renaming some of the textures and meshes], All I have to do, is add a tiny bit more clutter, Add 8 more interiors, and few more NPCs and finally the renaming thing [so replacers won't effect some of the models I am using] then it's basically done. :P

Ah. I see, to be honest I have noticed the lack of Argonian mods. O.o I don't know. but, I am unpacking Black Moss, and getting set-up again, to start working on it some more. It's my closest release, so there is no point in being lazy about things. It's 75% done. so yeah.

http://s1112.photobucket.com/albums/k481/kenders21/Black%20Moss%20Mod/#!cpZZ2QQtppZZ24

I added a Bunch More pics to the Black Moss Album; There are some Flora Additions to the new screenshots. The pics show Black Moss during both Day and Night, to give you a feel to what it will look like both times.

Black Moss is roughly 75% done; I still got roughly 8 more interiors to do, add more NPCs, and rename some of the meshes and organize them all, then the first version should be released. The first version will be the Heavy release, meaning there will be a fps drop depending on your system. Though, I believe it's easily bearable.

The Second release will follow shortly after and it will be the Lite version, there will be less flora and clutter and will definitely not have as much as an fps drop.

Finally, I am unsure when the third release will be, however, the third release will add a few miscellaneous quests and a medium sized main-storyline.

I Finished a couple more Interiors; Each uniquely named NPCs shall each have a miscellaneous quest. So far, I have created two more NPCs, Keei and Kah-Leesi. [Yes I have allot of references to outside stuff. Like the Character's Gendri and Kah-Leesi are easter-egg references to the Game of Thrones. And I will have many others.

In Keei's Shack, he has a bed next to his that holds a small-memorial for a now-dead lover; Keei is an old argonian who was in love with another Argonian, whose name was Ahleeka. They both were slaves and both tried to escape years ago, and in that attempt Ahleeka unfortunately was caught and killed and the Dunmer responsible left her corpse where she lay dead. So, after they were gone, Keei snuck back and took her body. Now the her bones, her family heirloom amulet, and slave bracers reside within his house in a ghetto memorial of sorts. [There will be a small quest where you get to avenge Ahleeka's murder. OR you can Kill Keei in two-differate ways. 1 - convince him to let you kill him so he can be with Ahleeka again or Turn on him and Kill him for the Slavers that killed Ahleeka]. There will be different rewards depending on what option you chose.

Keei is an old Argonian, who still mourns his lover's death and is a very grumpy character and eerily obsessive about his lover's remains.

Kah-Leesi is a sorceress or mage, female Argonian. Out of all of the Shacks, her's is the fanciest, with lots of flora. She is also a neat-freak, therefore she doesn't have clutter just lying around her house. She is very kind but quite reclusive from time to time. There will be a quest involving her as well in the third release. However, for now, there is just a unique odd Crystal sphere which will later have a purpose.

Gendri is an Imperial, working as a smith. His parents were slain by bandits and as a child he was left by himself to die; The Argonian siblings, Keesha and Kaja Ahiht found him and took pity on the boy, so they took him in and raised him in Black Moss. Over the years, Kaja taught Gendri the profession of Smithing, and as he finally began to master the art, Gendri started to forge weapons and armor and in turn, they built Gendri his own shack, while selling Gendri's items.

There will be other's including the Town-Shaman, whom I haven't created yet. Each NPC will have their own respective stories and personalities all which will tie together.

I named the Argonian in Keening "His-Beard-Speaks" and I have probably spent about a collective hour laughing about that over the past few months. Argonians are funny, beards are funny - everybody's happy!

I'm not sure that a character named Kahleesi is an easter egg now that the Game of Thrones tv show is out and so popular - it's more of the chocolate bunny someone threw in your lap. But I love easter eggs, chocolate bunnies and game of thrones, so that's still awesome-sauce.

Well, they call it an easter egg because it's hidden and not everyone will notice. To make a blunt point, if you created a character named Darth Vader, it would not be an easter egg. But if you created a character named Jek Porkins, a reference to the same movie, it would be an easter egg. Everyone's seen star wars, but they may not know that character's name. If your easter egg is not obscure or subtle or hidden enough, it becomes a rip-off. Or, at least, people see it that way. Game of Thrones has about 4 million viewers that can be tracked, so the name of a main character from GoT isn't obscure anymore. I have no problem with it, personally, but it could backfire on you.

well, I spelled them differently. lol. Besides, >_> All but the Kahleesi part is names that have been made up before GoT.

My point exactly. Besides they aren't Insanely recognizable references on my part. with the background, personality, world-setting, and everything, the references become almost unnoticeable.

Oooh! I have that mod, but I haven't checked it out. I'm gonna have to do that.

Esoptros - no worries... personally I just look for mods that are fun and interesting. Retexture three kwama eggs and put them in a box by khaleesi's pillow. that would rock.

I have an easter egg in my own mod that's an NPC named Mr Verson, after an obscure character called Vernon Cherry from Red Dead Redemption. I have the actual voice actor from Red Dead Redemption doing his voice. I really and truly love easter eggs, they're a lot of fun.
