just like the title says. when I go save a mod i made, the .esp extension is all caps i.e. .ESP

why does this happen? will this have any effects on my mod?

When trying to save my mod, the .esp extension is in caps. can anyone tell me why and if this will affect my mod?

I have no idea why it does it, but it shouldn't have any effect on your mod working.

You can rewrite it in small letters before saving or after, no harm done. That's what I do. I think Windows does it, because it happens too when I save an image or anything else.
