Post » Mon Dec 05, 2011 12:29 pm

Hey there,

I have noticed that my esp's dissapear from my programme files after i have edited them in the CS.

I have to click on compatibility files in the tool bar to make them show, then use ctl x and paste them back into programme files for them to show.

Windows 7 is giving me a headache! why is this happening and how do I stop it?

Probably by disabling the user access controls. I am running Windows 7 and have no problems with my Morrowind stuff since I have disabled those controls.

Move your morrowind installation outside of Program Files, it will save you all of those headaches!

Weird, i have all of my morrowind installations in the program files. Each install is simply re-named, and ive never had any problems atall. I always find it strange people seem to have so many problems when using Windows 7 and Morrowind.

Best thing to do is disable UAC before installing Morrowind, but obviously, it's a bit late for that now.

It's a bad idea to disable UAC, it actually does more than just annoy the user ;)

I simply have all my games in C:\Games folder, Windows is happy and i don't get headaches :D

Not really. It's perfectly safe unless you are reckless with your Internet downloading.

Well I checked UAC, and its not off. But I changed it the other day on plutos reconmendation. SO I am finding it very odd that it was on.

anyway, reset the computer and now it seems to be working fine.

All these windows 7 problems should be in the vista/windows 7 pinned thread......

This is what I have to deal with, on Vista.
