I want to be able summon a grinder, that I nkow how to do, but I dont know how to lock it down, make it static from the console.
when I place it and lock it down, Is there a way to view those changes in an editor and save them to an esp, or at least extract that info from the game to make an esp?

ah, was hoping this was the right forum for the console command to lock things in place. especially since it might use tes4edit, wrye, gecko, a saved game editor, and not the CS,

edit: *snip*

The CS forum is for ALL modding tools, not just the CS - so this is the right place for it.

Just out of curiosity, what's your aversion to the CS?

You're likely to get a better answer here than in the mods forum. What you seek to do is a bit convoluted, but probably possible seeing how there was once a pluggy mod that streamed info to TES4Edit. Apologies for the cursory answer I previously provided. For more info, you might want to contact kyoma - I believe he was the author of the said mod.

no aversion, but I find some of the other editors easier to use for very minor changes, extracting the exact location and doin an instant copy of just a cell, or just 3 items that I know by code and not location or which mod it is in, in tes4edit has helped me greatly. and yes, I do use the cs for many things

and to make an esp of an esp... I have always had problems with that in the CS

kyoma? will do, thanks

edit1: sent him the message shade, thanks for the info, hopefully he can help.
