No esp?

Hi, i made an esp. ,set it up as the active file, used Fallout 3 and Mothership Zeta as masters and made a gun and i also put out some stuff and decided to test it out.. one slight problem.. where is it? It seems as if it's in the GECK data and it's got a key like symbol next to it (gold) and it's only there in the active program if i shut the GECK off and look in the folder or run then game with it on it's not there. Any idea how i get it out of the GECK? I tried searching the name in run and i got it but it was only a shortcut which stopped functioning when i shut the GECK of.

Just to make sure, did you check or enable the mod in the Launcher or the mod manager that you use?

By default the GECK should save the file to the Data folder in the root directory for the game. However, if your game is installed in a different location than the GECK, then this can confuse things.

Where exactly do you have the game installed? If it's in one of the Program Files, the security system in place might be hiding it. One thing it does is put what it considers dubious software into a virtual folder where it can't harm anything. But some programs, like these games, can't find it if it's in there.

You can't even run the GECK unless it's in the same folder as the game. It needs certain files that the game provides in order to function.
