Euclid's C-Finder and Sleep question.

Post » Fri Aug 05, 2011 7:13 am

Hey guys got 2 questions. I have finished Honest Hearts DLC and after about 2 or 3 hours of playing, I noticed, my sleep doens't go up anymore. My food and water still goes up and I need to get rid of it by eating and drinking, but I noticed I don't need to sleep anymore. I am on the 360. I play on Hard Core mode and never turned it off. Is there an explanation as to why I don't need to sleep no more?

Also, I finally found the Euclid's C-Finder gun. I totally forgot about it. I have completed That Lucky Old Sun along time ago. How come I can't fire Euclid's C-Finder Gun? I went back to Helios One thinking I can reactivate it again, but I only have 3 options now. I can
Arm Archimedes Plant Defense System, Initial Trials and Archimedes Testing.

I thought for sure I activiated it before so I can use the gun once I find it but I had no intial charge and it's not charging after a day. So is there something I am forgetting or did I forget something to do before and now it's too late?

You needed to have activated the ARCHIMEDES II at HELIOS One. If you sent the power anywhere else, you're SOOL. ARCHIMEDES I is something else.

Dono about the sleep thing, but I think I can answer your question about the Euclid's C-Finder... When you are choosing where to distribute the power, during That Lucky Old Sun, choose Archimedes 2. You only get the one shot to activate it. So, if you already completed the quest you can't arm it. Archimedes 1 will kill all the NCR soldiers outside the building. Sorry to say it, I hate hearing it, but either you go back to an old save prior to the quest or get it on a new game.

Yeah it looks like I might have to start a new game. I am a bit lost in what I was doing so just wondering around. Maybe it's time for a new game. :)

Thanks for the replies guys. Now I am stumped about the sleeping part. If I start a new game I want to make sure I don't repeat what went wrong again.

When you were at Helios One did you arm Archimedes 2 at the core of the tower? If you didn't then I'm pretty sure it's to late to re-arm it. Most of the time when I try and fire it the lasers come down and nothing happens but sorry for your luck.

As for the sleep problem I'm not sure. But I wouldn't worry about it, it's just one less thing to worry about.

I am sure I have armed it, but I guess I didn't. :). As for the sleep, I just want to make sure I didn't make a mistake so when I start a new game, I don't make the same mistake again. So it's not an HH issue then. That is what I wanted to make sure.

I choose option 5: "Sent power to everything and everywhere." Strange that that worked out good.

I've had similar issues. My sleep meter goes up half as fast as normal, while by food and water meters go up at twice the normal rate. Even fast traveling gives me a major hit now.

Wait....... what? you can re-charge that crappy gun? for real? i always asumed you would be able to get ammo for it in one of the dlc's but no. so i just stashed it away thinking it was nothing but a paperweight.

If I remember correctly, it's a Once A Day fire weapon. It is very deadly, but needs 24 hours to recharge. Alas, I didn't set up Artimes for it so next game I have to make sure I do it properly.

I had the Euclid, then I did the mission, then I gave it to ED-E (because of it's weight (15)), I gave ED-E to the followers, I go to freeside and the kid is able to sell me the gun again (yes I bought it the first them from him, didn't steal it), and too bad for me ED-E lost the gun -_-'.
