I went to use the Euclid's C-finder on a group of enemys, and all that happens is the starting animation loops wherever my cross hair goes, seriously?

does anybody else have this problem? It looks like its going to fire but then it just loops until I quit the game. please help!

This happened to me. It worked correctly once, then I fired "too far" into the distance where nothing showed up (yet it fired and took the ammo), then after that I got the glitch you were talking about. I haven't tried it since though. :\
