was it very obvious to you the differences in the races?
also what was your actual feel of the AI in the NPC's? did they seem intelligent or just kinda scripted and repeating the same boring actions and talking repeating?

Thanks ever so much.
" I then spoke to him and asked him about his background and he told me about how he studied at the Bard's college and then I got a quest update sending me to the Bard's college." - That just made my day. :celebration:

Thanks, I did see NPC's entering interiors, they actually have an animation that makes it look like they're opening the door, the door also opens a bit, the door also opens a bit for you. No I'm afraid not but to be honest it's kinda hard to make anywhere out so it's not like you're going to get spoilers from looking at the map. I don't mean it's so hard to see that you can't see a thing but it's not enough to be able to anolyse every piece of land covered. I guess when you have visited an area it begins to clear up I'm not sure I didn't look at that.

i hope you realize this is probably the very best post on this website !
we all thankyou very much for taking the time to not only post your experiance but to also answer our questions !

Damn...i honestly don't have that much questions.

Oh wait...

1- Children...do you only have human children in the world? Or also Argonian,Khajit etc..children?

2- When talking to NPC's , how is the facial animation of them? We've only see Alvor, nothing ele. But i wonder if this is much more realistic now and how it looks. And when you are talking to a NPC..how far away from the NPC can you walk?

You said you waited for the night, how does the waiting look? Because I heard that it is a time lapse now.

Well from what I saw both the nords and Orcs had 100 hp, 100 stamina and 100 magicka, I didn't move any objects around because I was having trouble with the controls as it was (use to playing on PC) I didn't look at any other perks other than the last destruction and the two handed perk that gave you a 25 percent chance to decap (it was pretty high up the perk tree), I didn't see any other racial bonuses, I did use both the powers for my Orc and Nord and they don't feel like spells anymore but actually something extra, the NPCs felt a lot more alive than they did in Oblivion, I really felt like I could have spent the whole night in that bar with the bards and the other NPCs drinking. I only saw Orcs, Nords, Imperials, Dunmers and Redguards I'm afraid.

Did the racial powers have their own animations?

Were the shadows as grainy as seen in the official demo video, i.e. is the shadowmap resolution really that low?

Did you took the chance to do some basic alchemy?

Did you notice if you were able to see through windows while in interiors and/or hear the outside sound fx?

What was your overall feeling of the AI?

Did you notice any stuttering or frame rate drops?

One thing that I liked is that despite it being an early build of the game not once did I enter an interior only to have objects flying everywhere, it felt like Tamriel finally discovered gravity!. Waiting is similar to how it was in Oblivion, you choose how many hours and can cancel at any time, however there is a timelapse now, as the time went by with the wait I did see it go dark then light and even change from sunny to raining all naturally. When I used my Orc power he did shout out something but I couldn't make it out same with the Nord but it did sound really cool and even intimidating.

Well thanks for sharing all this stuff, sounds great.

-Little concerned about all the graphical stuff (rain, swimming animation, textures, lag, etc...) I can only...hope...

Oh...did you get any sense for physics in the game? I mean, objects falling or being movable or...stuff like that?

Thanks. After the NPC's transitioned into the interior did the door close behind them? Is swimming still first and third person, or only third? Did you see any crafting benches like Alchemy/Enchanting? Where in the UI does it show your bounty/stats? Sorry about all the questions, but gotta ask when we have someone who's played the game available. Not very often this happens. Much appreciated

Is every npc unique? Or can you only choose the typical "rumors" and that is it?

The shadow was grainy BUT like I've said the TV was terrible! so I'm not going to make any final judgments on the graphics until release now. The AI has vastly improved. The framerate was smooth even when I had myself, 3 guards, the prisoner and 2 wolves and anyone from Oblivion knows that's quite a lot of characters in one screen, however like I said I did watch someone who did have a slow frame rate but it only lasted 8 seconds and then sorted itself out. The overall sound quality was fantastic even though I was only using headphones, unfortunally this build didn't seem to have music, I tried turning it up in the options but didn't hear anything.

Thanks for sharing your experience, now i have a question about the 3rd person combat, why did you say it was hard for you? And another question about the rain you said it goes inside building, how does it go, for example when you enter a tavern or house or some store that has a loading screen do you still see rain inside? And also can you tell us the racial of the nords except the battlecry and other races if you know.

You didn't see any vampires or anything? Or Daedric shrines other than Azura?

NPCs didn't shut the door behind them they only phased in exactly like Oblivion, swimming is both first and third person, horse riding isn't, the horses are a big improvement to Oblivion, didn't seen any crafting benches. Bounty is shown in the general stats along with the quests. As for NPCs they do feel unique but not every NPC opens a dialogue menu, for example the guards if Falkreath only said random things everytime I spoke to them and the woman in Riverwood that cried about the dragon told me to chat too her son if I want too talk.

Did you feel that "Novice" difficulty was too easy? (It was the kind of Normal setting, right?) Or was it okay? And did you notice anything on Archery Perks?

When NPC's go into interiors the door slightly opens and stays open? Is there a separate tab in the journal for stats, or does it only show bounty?

Did the clothes/armors feel less "stiff" than they did in Oblivion? How did the hair feel like?

How has conjuration changed, if at all? Do you remember any spells?

You're welcome, I meant that it was harder to aim and hit, it's the same as 3rd person combat in Oblivion, no matter what this game is really a 1st person game. With the rain what I mean was that it goes through walls when you're outside, for example if you're under a bridge outside and it's raining, the rain still goes through the bridge, I also looked on the floor and there was no splash effect on the ground from the rain drops. Don't quite understand what you mean by that.
