I am surprised about the graphics part, cause the footage they've shown so far looks damn fine,REALLY impressive for Xbox 360. Snow, water, characters, dungeons etc.

You have to realize that the videos that have been shown aren't being shown in the same resolution the game plays in. Things can be hidden.

Thanks OP! When you got the Bards quest, was the destination Solitude? Also, if the Dunmer was on a pilgrimage to the Northeast by Windhelm, why was he traveling south?

Because they didn't think to build that kind of logic into the Radiant Story system.

Thanks for the info!

:o

Are the Medes, or whichever family is ruling the Empire, mad!?

From what I remember from the lore on the Medes I think they took over the Imperial City 24 years after the events of Oblivion, so they technically usurped the Throne from whoever was currently in charge. Hence one of the many reasons why Talos could be banned throughout the empire and another reason why the Blades are being killed off because they probably didn't recognize the Medes as the new emperor.

I will forever be jealous of you... until 11/11 when I forget all about these forums.

And they can make the graphics look like Morrowind if they wanted.. but if it has half of this stuff in it I will be entertained for a LONG time.

Thanks for this! ^_^

They came to power in the absence of the Septims. So they want to disbelief the Septims, and started this by banning the worship of the "first" Septim. Talos.

They usurped the power from the Elder Council.

Combat is much more improved, you have to play it to feel and see the difference from Oblivion, enemies do stagger, Items do have dynamic shadows and the Bard's college is in Solitude. I was heading south the Pilgrim was heading in the opposite direction (north)

Great read, thanks :goodjob: Since it was raining, did you notice npc's running inside? Spotted any gambling or cards or darts or anything cool happening in the tavern?

Anyone stop to think that the regen health rate is a mechanic that gets tweaked up until release? A build that old doesn't have final mechanics. Not to mention that it could have been tweaked for demo purposes?

That was what I was thinking... if you're only giving people 15 - 60 mins to play maybe they sped up healing?

Nice, thanks for sharing. Any argonians or khajiit around? If affirmative, how good were their animations and voices?

Thank you! How were the NPC animations? Did you see the 3D map at night, or any local maps? Were all of the city icons different? Also in your first playthrough, was there a quest tied to the husband and wife talking about the ingredients? Was the tavern very lively and did the Bard actually sing? What instrument was he playing?

That is good to hear. Perhaps they did think to add that kind of logic to the Radiant Story system.

Not amused to be honest.June build or not,why the [censored] would they show that?.....they are showing off their game ,not trying to put people off.

This better not turn out like another new vegas, that game was a mess.

I can understand things like that in earlier builds, but why show it off.

Anyway,we'll see.

I've calmed down a bit now,i'll take that back. Except the bit about new vegas.

Someone slap me.

Also trust me when I say that all the graphical issues, I loved this game, the gameplay was amazing, incredible and superb all together and even then that is an understatement, and that TV is a total piece of crap because my cousin has the very same and it svcks! control was great I wasn't that comfortable because it was the first time I played a TES game on a console. Also gone are the days in Oblivion where you would be interrupted while on a killing spree with the guards coming up to offer you a choice, now the only way to get offered arrest is to sheath your weapon.

That's an improvement from Oblivion, I like it.

Another reason to support the rebels.

I don't know if I would blindly go with the Rebels for all we know they could be worse then the current rule.

Meh.. no worries about the TV, they are behind the times anyway. Console gamers should be playing with monitors nowadays.

Didn't they call Talos 'Ysmir' or 'Dragonborn'?

it angers me that you are able to go about killing so many other people when you are only a level ONE? WHY?
why can a level one go about killing an entire group of people including a gang of orcs and a gang of wolves?
sounds pretty lame ..
