My Eurogamer experience

Yeah. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjbx6-KQoRg&feature=player_detailpage

I'm going into this game with minimal expectations, period. It's the only way I'll be able to enjoy the game and not be disappointed.

Oh, and Vix, you mentioned that the swimming animations were bad? How bad were they, on a scale of 1 to 10 (the higher the number, the worse the anim)?

well on a scale of 1-10 the higher the number the worse the anim, I'd say 8, also yay I finally have a fishy stick!!!, also I never felt nudged in what direction at all, the reason many people went to Riverwood was because the starting point faces the village exactly so it's the easiest place to go too. The way I went into the game was with no positive or negative thoughts, I just acted as if I've never seen or heard of TES in my life, this allowed me to locate parts of the game I liked and parts I didn't, rather than deluding myself that just because it's a TES it's absolutely perfect.

I mainly criticized how Oblivion seemed to favour graphics at the cost off the gameplay and lore. I said that the biggest sting of the game was the level scaling and I'm glad it's been fixed. I also noticed that the writing in the game such as "one handed skill has increased" was bit smaller than it was in the demo.

I know that. And bethesda wouldn't have been oblivious to it's flaws either. It still had their name on it.

I love bethesda, they have made my favorite games. I know bugs are part and parcel of games ,especially open world....But i don't want a long list of them,or ones that really stand out. And i certainly don't want patch after patch after patch. And while waiting for those patches be expected to pay for DLC,which also had bugs. I have standards,i don't walk around with "MUG" tattooed on my head. I got a little angry with what i read. I believe we won't have as many bugs etc,and believe it will be more polished than previous games. But after new vegas, bugs and proper testing are still in the back of my mind.

This is the first time i've said anything negative about the game,it looks fantastic.

Well bethesda softworks isnt the same team as bethesda game studios
Bethesda softworks were the ones to watch over obsidian
A lot of ppl think bethesda made new vegas so they got flak for a game they never saw til release
Also the creation engine is a heavily updated gamebryo engine so i think its gonna be fine

8: (This I blame on the TV), the resolution, contrast and brightness were terrible. Everything was jagged, the LOD was pix-elated and the dungeons were really bright, I know this is due to the TV because a: They told me that they are not on 1080p or 720p but rather 480p! also the TV's were terrible, barely even HD, and the brightness was set too high.

Taking measures to make sure that doesn't happen again. Sorry about that. In regards to some of the other issues, keep in mind this is the same build we used for PAX... we made numerous improvements since.
