You should really try to fix the perception gets stuck at 1 bug. I've had to uninstall a mod which actually makes having high perception useful.

Awesome! It was getting pretty annoying not being able to have 100 lockpick without statraising items.

Did you figure out my CTD issue?

When I came back to The Mall a couple of game days later it worked fine. Perhaps it has something to do with monster spawns?

I've narrowed things down after doing a thorough investigation after I got consistent crashes in the Citadel Courtyard as well. Even with 0 mods active, it still crashes. I noticed that when I renamed my meshes folder it did work. I'm guessing that either this mod's or another mod's animation (or maybe mesh) replacers is causing my crashing problem. I will look into it some more to see what exactly it is.

edit: Alright, my new crash, and perhaps even my old crash, are caused by something in my meshes/armor folder. EVE doesn't have anything in there, so it's not EVE's fault. Yay! :P

Now I'm off to find the real culprit. :flamethrower:

edit #100: It was the female brotherhood of steel armor. It's too bad I don't quite remember what mod I got it from.

:S well then you figured it out for me as well. I HAVE THAT SAME MOD ><"

********************* UPDATE ************************

Had a lot going on in real life lately, what with my new job and all.
But EVE stuffs is still going on. Beta 0.9.3 will be up soon.

Here's a preview of the XRAY/NV scope work: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/images/1026866-1251390243.jpg

Also think i got a way to get Gauss to keep it damage value in VATS. WITHOUT removing the explosion, and WITHOUT changing any numbers. you'll see ;)

Cipscis has been MIA with his studies as well, and im not such a good scripter, so creating that NV/Xray scope was quite a tedious chore for me, alas things with EVE still coming along.
just very behind schedule.

By the way, hehehe the "Burnmaster" unique flamer, will be the CLASSIC FLAMER from FO1/2!!!! (your little smiling flamer guy icon reminded me)

First, I'd like to say that I love EVE, and all your DX mods I don't think I could go back to playing without them. That being said, and this may have been mentioned already, (I'm lazy and didn't look) I've been having a small problem with the operation anchorage component of EVE. Whenever I shoot a robot with the gauss rifle, or hit something with the shocksword, I get all these black square artifacts on whatever I hit. If I don't immediately keep them out of my field of view, the screen will go all black. The UI is visible, but nothing else is. I'm guessing it's the OnHit effects acting squirrely, though I haven't ruled out it being my hardware (my videocard is a geforce7800, getting an radeon4870 soon though). I reloaded all the meshes and textures, but that didn't help. I was just wondering if anyone else was having the same problem, or if it's been fixed already. Again, thanks for the great stuff.

Thats due to the Alpha. Eve's impacts, muzzles flashes, and a few of the deaths have excessive alpha settings, and that is knows as a problem with "Nvidea" cards. Your Geforce 7800 havin those issues is understandable. Even my gecorce 9800gt 1gb is doing fizzy things with the alpha.

Jiesen! your mods are amazing!!! in my last 2 nights of playthroughs after work, basically just setting up my load order, tweaking mods and ironing everything out, EVE contiuously makes me love life in the wastes. twice in one playthrough exiting the vault in "Escape" i was wide-eyed and just like OMGWTFBBQ o____o i'm using "Start with Energy Weapons mod" doesnt conflict or overwrite anything, just replaces the 10mm pistol amata gives you with a laser pistol. nice way start if you want to start with energy weaps, not over powered, and compliments EVE nicely. Keep up the good work mate!

Death never looked so futuristic and sixy then it does with EVE. Its like a mix of TERMINATOR,FORBIDDEN PLANET and what i always imagined the old FASA STAR TREK rpg board games would look like if they were done on the computer or turned into a hardcoe sci-fi war movie. Love the animated panels.

Thanks for the rush weijiesen :foodndrink: :cake: :foodndrink:

Two things I'm really looking forward to now:

WMK support

Mothership Zeta!

There's quite a few new energy weapons in that DLC, and particularly the unique pistol are really solid weapon choices for an energy user, especially with the perk that gives you extra damage with alien weaponry. The only thing they're missing is AWESOME WEIJIESEN ANIMATIONS ;)

Looking at this mod, i had a sudden urge to remove WMK and pop this baby in my load list.

When i saw the mention of the possibility of WMK compatibility, i nearly flipped!

I love good animations, textures and the like, but i also value functionality, which is what WMK gives.

sixy+Useful=Awesome

Your A3-21's plasma rifle kinda grows on ya...

would be nice if you could stab someone with it :P but that's just wishful thinking

It's not incompatible with WMK exactly, it's just with WMK too, you won't get WJ's gorgeous new weapon textures, "only" the WMK ones. WMK functionality still works and you still get the nice energy crit death effects.

Yeah, I am on a ten day Chinese national holiday, and didnt have any plan for travel or anything. So I thought i'd see how much can get done this week.
Aside from loads of EVE work, I did manage to do a few textures, meshes, and custom explosions for FOOK ^_^

There's quite a few new energy weapons in that DLC, and particularly the unique pistol are really solid weapon choices for an energy user, especially with the perk that gives you extra damage with alien weaponry. The only thing they're missing is AWESOME WEIJIESEN ANIMATIONS ;)

Agreed about Zeta. I thought the textures on the weapons themself was good and the meshes where creative enough. BUT, the visuals were terrible! Muzzleflashes: decent, Impacts: acceptable, Projectile: bulky, blocks view in VATS, unimaginative.
No worries, EACH alien weapon will have its OWN unique projectie, a cool impact for stone/metal/glass, a diff impact for wood/cloth/ground, and a cool impact for "living" as well. Not too mention a line of all new deaths of course ;)
BTW Bethesda used only ONE explosion mesh in Zeta, for the other explosions in zeta they simply recolored that one explosion ><"

True, and you wont get the cool custom Plasma weapon meshes either. I've never tried it, but are EVE+WMK at least "playable" together? no CTD or gamebreaking graphical glitches?

I am currently using a Build consisting of FOOK/FWE/EVE/WMK/UWWUT/Phalanx and i am having no issues. I say this knowing that IF i were to mod an EVE weapon that I'd get a WMK texture due to no compatibility, atm, but so far any EVE weapon i've got i've just held off on modding it until the CP =___0 Jiesen, new [censored] looks tight, any update on ERROR??? =x

Been using them together for ages now, no problems at all except "not getting some of the cool stuff".

Mmm, EVE-ified Zeta weapons :D

good to hear about the alien weapons. I don't use zeta, but I would like the alien blaster effects redone. they're so BORING. I used ss's weapon effects for it and flamers, but im sure that probably isnt compatible with fwe, so I don't have it installed anymore. I miss unique visuals to alien blaster though, as that's a great weapon to use in fwe when things get tough.

********* IMPORTANT!!!!! **********

ALL impact visuals for Laser and Plasma in EVE have been ABANDONED.

The glow spot for lasers, and the "globe" for plasma are officially DISCONTINUED

I've created NEW custom impacts for lasers and plasma that are 200% better than EVE 0.9.3

screenshots coming soon. EVE 0.9.4 coming soon. 094 features NEW upgraded impacts for Laser and Plasma, script re-writes, Vengence, Plasma blind, and more. Stay tuned

********* IMPORTANT!!!!! **********

EDIT:
EVE 0.9.4 is going to feature ALL NEW custom visual impacts!
The new impacts are far better than what is currently in EVE.
Please refer to the following sceenshots.

I'm using them simultaneously now, there are no glitches. I just savor the idea of awesomely designed weapons with scopes.

an idea if you are indeed doing a WMK compatability patch; maybe unique weapons could have unique scopes, i.e. A3-21's could have a scope with bladed edges.

was kind of wondering about compatability, i know with like fwe u need to use their version, but from what i understood it uses the old 0.9.2 version, so shoudl i isntall 0.9.3 and the fwe and and if so should the fwe load after it or does it not matter?

I read that there were extra visual options on a few weapons, so I opened up screenshots to see if there were pictures of the alternatives compared to the originals. Sadly, there were none. Can you by chance post some picture comparisons or even just a picture of the alternates so everyone wont have to test every option individually to see which they prefer?

Yeah Cahemdue (worlds most talented and quickest modeler) has made some good scopes for me to use (and bayonette ;) )

Interesting question. Please give me a link to the file you are talking about. my "skill" with FO3Edit is the equivalent of a 1yr old tying his shoe, but i'll give it a try and see if i can at least merge the latest EVE with the FWE file you are talking about

right i have been meaning to do this. The differences are SLIGHT. for example, the Plasma Pistol = differences are the lack of green glass tube, and another is the lack of my glow rings. Laser Rifle = differences is the "glow pattern". Maybe most people dont know it, but the laser rifle in EVE does have a "pulsing glow". You can see it if you toggle "TFC" and look at the gun from the side, or simple look at the gun while its in teh hands of an NPC.
As with all "optional content" in EVE, I have chosen the most visually fufilling and pimped version to be the default that EVE uses, and keep the not-so-maxed stuff as alternative. That way if for some (straaaange) reason a person doesnt like my fantastic additions, they can choose the alternate mesh. I never really "INTENDED" for anyone to use my alternate meshes. I just provide them as an option for picky people. Maybe thats why i didnt bother to take any screenshots yet. . . .

Thanks for the link! I'll make a section in EVE's readme file for the "recommended to use with EVE"
