[RELZ] EVEHGEC: Eyecandy Variants Expansion [RELZ]

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 7:43 am

Already talking to Axil about this..in case we need them..for situation like above..rbp(cobl races) with rmb, eve, tff(which is another body mod so it will not work with eve per say) + better beast changes, etc..just too many variables that could break eve itself when it comes to races and what works and what does not work..

Corepc

Wouldn't be hard for me to make 'em. bg2408 already says he has no troubles with de-isolated patches (and I suppose Wrye would be cool with it too), but I wonder if I would be breaking any rules with the creators of the body mods  . Well I would make a separate ESP for each body mod so that customized installs won't be an issue. The problem with this is that I don't know if Bash's Merge functions are smart enough to merge two edits to one entry from two different ESPs. If Bash can't do this then I would have to make one for each type of customized installs (i.e. RMP & EVE, EVE & BB, RMP & TFF, etc, etc, etc. . .).

If you guys decide it should be necessary just tell me; I'll make 'em and save you guys the trouble. Both of you have more important stuff to work on ^_^ .

P.S. I have Slofs Better Beast and I want to use it but Slof says it only support Robert's Male/Female. Is there an Eyecandy version out there I'm missing out on?

Edit to answer Axil: These patches wouldn't be for EVE, they would be for common cosmetic packs (RBP & Cobl Races). That's why I mentioned TFF.

I didnt mean to cause so much trouble. I was going to try and edit the esp (for some reason I missed frans explanation on how to do it cause I normally and throughly read threads and readmes before I install). One thing I did learn from frans list of mods was that he labels each package by install order in BAIN (or at least I think he does) - that is something Ill start doing as well.

EDIT - haha I just stretched the columns on BAIN and just realized that BAIN already has an install order column - didnt see that before! Duh...

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to single you out. Trust me your not the only one but I'm glad your gonna try to learn how to do it by yourself. I only suggested this, not because I was annoyed at anyone, but because it would be easier for other users with simple no modding knowledge and no incentive to learn.

Yea, and when you click 'List Packages' it writes them down with the order number. Beleive you DO NOT want to rename your packages to have the proper order. Take for example, my case. If I add a package that needs to be order #6, then I have to manually rename all 234 packages afterward.

Ok, I sent you a PM but let me try and do it myself first - working on it now.

I did it!

I ran the EVE_Kajiit esp against bgBalancingEVCore.esp and just dragged and dropped the conflicting cell into bgBalancingEVCore.esp utilizing the tes4edit program. Worked like a charm....sweet!

Btw, this is a simple but great example for people to learn how to fix conflicts...I wonder if its better to "not" create a compatibility patch and use this as a teaching tool to help many of us learn how to utilize tes4edit and do this ourselves...or put an example of this up on the tes4edit wiki...just a thought.

Thanks to all for helping me do this!

Glad you fixed, easy fixes like importing eve_khajitfix into rmb or rbp or cobl races anybody can do, tes4edit..is easy to learn..

Making compatiblity patches is not something that the eve team want to do..but if needed we will make them has needed but only if need calls for it once again..

Rewrote EVE mods rules section..

Naturally as I'm running FCOM, I'm using Wrye Bash and hence the Bashed patch.

Im playing RBP's daedra seducer and I have to say that the tattoos are quite unique and well done on the nvde version of this character type (am I correct to assume EVE did this or kept it intact) - very very well done...

EVE doesn't cover any non-default races. So you'll want to go thank bg2408 for the cool tattoos :P .

Actually, no, not me. They're Ismelda Lasombra's and Chingari's work :). I've only got permission to use them :twirl:.

All races of a given share the same body, so yes... if only in shape ;).

What Bg2408 said..they share the same body so you can have those sixy upper and sixy hips for your Seducer..

If you use the underwear version of EVE. They will have underwear regardless of what textures you use (as long as they are Eyecandy textures of course). The body textures are separate from the underwear textures so there is no problem.

Bump

EVE Tip: Use Luchaire HGEC Body Seam Reducer(cannot link to it contains nudity) to get rid of most of neckline seam..

works with default body textues that come with eve, unless you want better looking one then use the ones that comes with this..

IS it possible to combine the EVE esp for Arm , OOO, MMM, Frans and Stock into 1 ? Is this something I could do with tes4edit usiing "copy as new record" ?

If using fcom then just use the fcom esp (which is stock replacer with fcom changes intergrated) , knights esp, and eve khajittifix (best to tes4edit this into existing cobl races or rbp or bp) which are all bash mergeable..along with arma and frans which are bash mergeable has well..

or use the fcom eve.esp and just combine arma and frans into that is what you want to do..

and if you want to merge them all together, use tes4gecko instead..which you can set order in which they merged..fcom, frans, arma..

Little bump as I just discovered this "new" version, I was still on Beta0.9. Huge, awesome, and gorgeous work, here, this is really great !

But... ;)
EVE_Khajiitfix.esp should load where you have other race mods. If using other race mod that modify khajiit..aka RBP or COBL races you must use bash, no if and or butts about it. It will crash if using a race mod that modifies khajiit. make sure it is checked off in races section of bashed patch and it merge patch section has well. (bash:races)

I'm a bit ashamed to have to ask, especially with this exhaustive and detailed read-me (edit: and even more after re-reading the above posts, yet I'm still wondering)... But I'm still confused with this one. Is it usefull if using RBP, apparently yes it is; Does it have to load after it? To be imported into the patch (as a 'merge patch' or as a 'race record'?) ? And then, deactivated in the modlist? Sorry, but the sentence is still a bit obscure to me, and I still consider (even after a long usage) Wrye Bash as a kind of magical, mysterious, esoteric programm... I use it, but will apparently never really understand what I'm doing exactly :?
