[RELZ] EVEHGEC: Eyecandy Variants Expansion [RELZ]

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 9:59 am

To be imported into the patch (as a 'merge patch' or as a 'race record'?) ? And then, deactivated in the modlist? Sorry,

That is correct load eve khajiitfix.esp before rbp itself or cobl races in load order,

and check it off in both merge patches and race records section when rebuilding bash patched. and then make sure after bash patch is rebuilt that it looks like this "+"..
If does not work then please post mods are your using..

Okay, will do that. Merge and race record - those were checked by default when rebuilding the patch. No reason it wouldn't work ;) Thank you, CorepC

Is there any chance of an expansion on HGEC H-Cup? Okay, I'm a silly guy, okay? But the choices are very limited.

Unless it already has a complete stock equipment replacer that cover oblivion, si, and knights and version's for "Frans, MMM, OOO, Arma" it will not happen..

Hmm, it should be loaded before RBP, so that any changes are imported correctly with bash, and you do not loose rbp settings for khajiit has well..

got a question re. EVE and Wrye Bash:

Should the EVE ESP's be checked off in both the Merge Patches section AND the Import Graphics section of the Bash patch? I've tried both ways (ie. merged AND imported, and just imported) and can't tell the difference?

Way I see it is Import Graphics will ONLY import any graphics related changes from the ESP, whereas Merge will effectively import everything. But if these ESP's only change graphics, then what is the difference between merging and importing?

Confused!

Yes, you should always merge the eve esp in merge patches and graphics section for compatiblity reasons..Because eve is so well designed it is hard to tell that this stuff is working but it is..

Merge Patches ensure changes to items like stats, model information, etc get carried over into bash,

Graphics tag are used to ensure that model information is carried over correctly into bashed patch itself. So yes that is all that does is carry model information not the rest..

EVE Esp change more than just graphics, they change stats / magic enchantments' / script depending on what evestockequipment*.* you are using once again..

So you are doing it right..

CorePC: ahh, that's fair. In that case EVE is indeed well designed :)

I was treating EVE like other mods...eg. most graphics replacers you definitely DON'T want to merge because they'll override changes from other mods eg. OOO/FCOM.

But if EVE incorporates only intended changes into its ESP, then it makes perfect sense to merge - provided you're using the right 'replacer' ESP of course! (which i am)

I will leave this question open for a few days before I do this..

Since I have a pyfii version of EVE and All Mods that it currently support that I need to get uploaded..

On the contrary, I have thought that the page is so cluttered that it is a bit hard to understand what to download.

I'll try to remember that. :)

That is why I am going to clean it up and

remove those older version's and rename a few of titles has well..

so that is not so confusing to some..has to what is needed itself..

Since there are a total of 5 omod (Stock always required - Frans, OOO, MMM, Arma, Optionial) or 5 bain version has well

that is 10 just alone in current version's..not counting fcom.esp download..

Not alot of work really to update the packages with pyfii version, but having to upload 10 new version's is going to take a while I say..

and moving the current version down to older files has well..

Is this an update to the packages or just a cleanup. I think you should do what you want since you seem to me to be one of the best modders we all benefit from for playing Oblivion. I use almost all of your mods, if not all.

i don't think there's any reason to hold onto the older files if the new ones are true replacements!

Did you decide when you would be putting up the new versions (or did you already).

So if EVE contains both Exnem or HGEC, is it ok to use clothing mods that supported Exnem/HGEC with EVE?
(e.g http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11824)

I've been ising HGEC and Exnem clothing for a while now with eve and have no complaints . But I'm not much of a perfectionist on that end

Yes, most exnem / hgec clothing work just fine EVE, but that also depends on what exnem / hgec boob it was built for..Some time things can be noticeable sometime things fit just right..

that that you linked to is already contained in EVE..the clothing replacer and armor replacer..just updated for eve and with meshes to match upper and lower chices in eve

Correct, still packaging them and testing to make sure that I get everything right..Plus, waiting to hear back from some one about a few issue with sleeves not appearing correctly on some clothing has well using c cup replacer when in first person view..So if there is a fix, I can re pyfii those and include before reuploading..

Are you also PyFFI'ing cuirasses and shirts? From my testing (note, with an older version of PyFFI), when you fight H2H with these PyFFIed curiasses/shirts, the blood that splashes all over your hand from fighting doesn't work anymore. They become very blocky. I'll get you an image of it if I can. Just a heads up.

Thanks for this mod BTW.

I've got a question.

Is this at all compatible with NPC_New_Clothes Complete: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11377 or this version: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=112579&id=2070

I ask because it seems as though that mod uses Growlfs body - and if that is so then what I'm seeing is growlf bodies while NPCs are wearing clothes and then eve bodies after they are nekid - right?

Is there any kind of fix for that?

Then probably this mod is not compatible as well: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21627 correct?

I understand that it is not like the compatibility is game breaking and that it basically means that the bodies may look different while clothed - I'm just checking that my thinking is right on that/

thanks
