Ever played game without Wait/fast travel ?

Ever played a game without wait and fast Travel. I just started a new char for fallout 3 with FWE, MMM without using both wait and fast travel and sleep giving health based on Endurance and Strength..

Just these small changed to game play made this game a lot more fun...

I have tried to, but always got annoyed for some reason or another. Not that you've reminded me, I just might try again...

I tried playing with no fast travel but it ended up getting very boring slogging through the Wasteland all the time trying to get somewhere, especially if it was a return trip and I had already cleared the area of any spawned creatures. I just don't see the point in spending the time moving my character around if nothing is going to happen anyway. What I'd like to see is something like what the Oblivion Map Markers Overhaul mod does, and allow for only limited Fast Travel. Rather than being able to jump from one edge of the map to another, you can only travel a certain distance, so you need to make the trip in several small hops rather than just one big one.

While I try to explore the wastes as much as possible without fast traveling to every location I've already found, there are times when I feel the need to fast travel to my Tenpenny Tower suite like when I'm carrying a lot of junk and won't to sell it off as soon as possible, or if I'm addicted to chems or hurt without any stimpacks I'll fast travel to my home so I can rest and heal myself up.

The weird thing is I probably spend more hours in my Tenpenny Tower Suite then I do actually exploring the Wasteland. I like to redecorate and arrange items regularly and explore the tower and chat with all the residents, even though they say the same things over and over.

I try not to fast travel, but not waiting is ridiculous. I'm not going to stand around for an hour real time to speak with someone in game.

I play with no mods at all and I don't use fast travel or wait. If I need time to pass, I'll crash in some nearby dead raider's bed.

I'm fine with waiting, but I'm a purist for no Fast Travel (except if a major bug crops up and Fast Travel is my best option of escaping from it).

I never use fast travel, it's totaly immersion breaking. I try to sleep instead of wait but I won't go to far out of my way to not wait. If it's the middle of the night and no shops will be open for hours, I'll go to my house and sleep until they open. If it's just early in the morning and not quite opening time for craterside supply, I'll wait an hour or two until it's open.
