Ever seen a dragon do this?

So, has anyone else had the dragon actually crash into the ground and leave a huge furrowed trench. By crash, I don't mean 'just fall', I mean, crash, and in high speed swoop in that it failed. Not as in 'Bad pathing/collision physics', but as in 'completely scripted and conceptualized as something that can happen during a dragon fight in this game'...

I was doing battle with a Frostie that was protecting an outdoor dragon wall. It launched itself up did a swing around, and was going to do a flyby burst. A lucky dual cast fireball hit, and the dragon lost it's wing, and came tumbling.

It reminded of the one dragon crash in 'reign of fire'.. It looked almost exactly like that. Down to the newly dug trench in the ground, dirt clouds blinding all vision, the entire bit. The beastie still had a bit of life left in it too, but it was completely stunned and was quickly dispatched.

Probably the coolest, hardly ever seen, bit of coding I have run across in this game.

Yes I have, thrice.

First 2 times looked absolutely horrible due to me being on a tiny mountain path. Last one was pretty awesome, it crashed on the other shore of the river.

Yep that has happened four times to me so far. It does look good though. It's awesome if your'e standing at the end of its trench digging slide and it comes to rest at your feet. Major epiceness right there!

Yes, just the other day. I was trying to find a Forsworn outpost to clear out when the dragon drops down and starts breathing fire on everything that moved and most everything that didn't. The Forsworn completely ignore me and turn the dragon into a pincushion with wings. One must have hit whatever triggers that event and the dragon crashes, leaving the huge furrow. I race over and wail on it to take its last bit of health before the Forsworn can do it and steal my kill. Turns out the furrow led right up to the edge of the burial site that the dragon had come from. How's that for ironic? Died in the same place twice. Poor dragon... Not.

Last night I had one do the same thing on top of a mountain but instead of crashing onto a flat spot it slammed into a cliff. It got hung up in the rocks on a small ledge. I dropped down and dispatched the dragon and it tumbled several thousand feet down the mountain bursting into flames. I never found the corpse or loot but did get the soul. It was an awesome sight
