I wanted the original assassins creed really bad.

My neighbour got it a day before official release because he pre-ordered. He wouldn't let me have a go!

I used to want Skyrim more than I do now. Once we get the 30 min demo then I will be just as hyped as I was for Skyrim when it was announced. Right now there is no excitement. I was more excited for Mass Effect 2 than I am right now, but when Skyrim was first announced... It was the happiest moment of my entire life, I swear.

The games I wanted really bad were games like Tyrian, Daggerfall and heroes of might and magic 2... Don't get that excited anymore for new games, but maybe Skyrim is the exception.

Yeah, oblivion... then after I played it 1.5 times and I went back to morrowind.

I will say that I never longed for a game to be GREAT, as much as I do with Skyrim.

No. I've wanted this game since I finished my first playthrough on OB, late in 2006. I've never wanted a game more. But it's going to be worth it, I just know it :tes:

It scares me [censored]less to think that this will be a flop as big as Brink. I bought Brink new because I support the hell out of Beth, and love what their trying to do with the genre. Unfortunately I would have been better off mailing Bethesda Studios $60 and skipping the game.

It's started to sort of seem a little bit like a dream. I sometimes have to ask myself "It's still coming right? I haven't imagined the whole thing have I?"

mgs4 and FO:NV-WOW me and my next door neighbour met tgoather evryday and played games but ultimately to check out new mgs4 info- when i finally got it :OOOOOO soooo satisfying, but cant say the same for FO:NV; sure it was fun as hell to play just up until the end where i had to choose a faction- ruined the game for me cuz i had put like 200 hours into the game and had perfect respect with all factions (glitch?) and this ruined the game for me, because it undermined all the choices i had made throughout the game and i just felt like it was a waste of time to play it---hard to understand where im coming from but all i can say is this just really ticked me off and i havent touched the game since :/.

I will eat my hat if Skyrim is a flop .. As many have mentioned ,i can't see that happening. Even if things you want are not in the game. As long as it still has that huge open world to explore i know i'll be happy . From the footage it's obviously looking better than Oblivion and i'm sure it will have some deep gameplay too. I don't think they want to hold your hand through this game as some people expect. :)

I would love to see some PC screenshots! just 1 :)

I've been playing games since "Golden eye on N64 " but i can't remember wanting a game this Bad!!

Just a few weeks ago Bf3 was the game i kept looking at on Youtube and searching for . But Skyrim has rocketed past BF3 (which i still can't wait for) in my ..."Games i must own" list!
Sure i will put loads of Hours on BF3 ...but only Untill 11.11.11 :)

Has any one here looked forward to game this much??

My PC is crying out for BF3 and even more for Skyrim . I Can't seem to get into anything else atm.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is BF3? I wish people would give its full name at least once for the uninitiated, it becomes a mind scrambling chore trying to work it out? lol

I think I've worked it out now though?

I want Everquest 2,despite never playing the first, or being much of an MMO player, and Diablo 3. Games I wanted bad in the past were Hellgate:London, Borderlands, and Red Alert 3 between the time of seeing it the cover of a magazine and reading actual the article.

What's funny is the difference between EQ and EQ2 is enormous. I still play EQ1, though I enjoyed the second.

There are only a few times I wanted a game this badly. Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy XIII, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and ...Bomberman 2 for the SNES (USA version).

I might be forgetting a few others. I often get hyped, but not often this badly.

Only the wait for Oblivion made me as hyped as I'm now waiting for Skyrim. Morrowind was so good, and it brought me to the forum...And now I'm here almost daily.

Edit: I've been playing games since...1988 I think. Mostly on PC.

Well I initially wanted Dragon Age 2 and it was pretty bad. Don't know if Skyrim is going to be worse or not, I guess we'll see.

The only thing I was excited this much wasn't a game.. it was a console... My 360 which I got for my birthday... It was on june 22nd this year.... But Skyrim is the BIGGEST thing I am expecting. If my brother pre-orders it for me, http://pc.ign.com/articles/117/1178490p1.html

The only time I was ever as excited about something to do with gaming was that time I took a summer job as a kid so that I could buy the SNES 16 bit platform on release.
I think I was 15 then, so its more than half my life ago I felt this kind of excitement.
