Ever wanted a game so bad?

Post » Sat Jul 02, 2011 9:53 pm

I've been playing games since "Golden eye on N64 " but i can't remember wanting a game this Bad!!

Just a few weeks ago Bf3 was the game i kept looking at on Youtube and searching for . But Skyrim has rocketed past BF3 (which i still can't wait for) in my ..."Games i must own" list!
Sure i will put loads of Hours on BF3 ...but only Untill 11.11.11 :)

Has any one here looked forward to game this much??

My PC is crying out for BF3 and even more for Skyrim . I Can't seem to get into anything else atm.

I want Everquest 2,despite never playing the first, or being much of an MMO player, and Diablo 3. Games I wanted bad in the past were Hellgate:London, Borderlands, and Red Alert 3 between the time of seeing it the cover of a magazine and reading actual the article.

Think I'm looking forward to BF3 more than Skyrim, though that's partly due to the fact that this game's still a while away, whereas the BF3's open beta starts September. Have both games on pre-order though.

Maybe Ocarina of Time, on the very same console you started gaming on. :) Skyrim really seems like it's going be something special.

Oh, and Donkey Kong Country. I swapped my MegaDrive for a SNES just to play it.

Yeah I wanted many games BAD! For instance, Dragon Age 2 and the Witcher 2.... only one of those was worth the wait... I think it's obvious witch ( :hubbahubba:) one it was.

The wait for Half Life was tough for me. I kept reading about all the great things that game was going to introduce to FPS games and it kept getting delayed and delayed.

Left4Dead and Oblivion are close 2nds.

As more and more info come out on this game I could easily see it competing for the #1 slot though :)

I waited this much for Oblivion, but the hole "Raident AI" thing was a bit of a let down. Its still my 2nd favorite game of all time, behind Morrowind, but while playing it a promised myself I wouldn't get so existed for any game ever again.

... But then i saw the teaser trailer for skyrim and almost cryed with joy...

Borderlands for me too. The only game Iv'e ever wanted really bad other than that though (like glued to forums and sniffing up every bit of information like a crack addict) was oblivion funnily enough.

I bought the Witcher 2 after feeling the need to get a new RPG..i wanted something like "Oblivion" while i waited for Skyrim. But tbh ..i felt a little Dissapointed, maybe i havn't played it enough but there are soo many Invisible walls. Not so much "open world" feel about it. Thats deffinatley what i love about Oblivion.

I may give the witcher 2 another shot. It is a pretty game and the story telling is very good too.

I was a bit late getting into the Oblivion scene,i remember when it first came out, looking at screenshots in PC gamer and thinking it looked great. But i didn't buy it untill years after ..infact i only bought it 2 years ago,i still havn't completed it lol....i had a long break from it .I'm playing it again and intend to finnish it. Then i have the shivering isles to face. By the time i complete that little lot it should be Skyrim time :)

The last game I got this hyped up about was GTA IV. Good game, but nowhere near as awesome as it's two predecessors. I fear the same may be true of Skyrim. We shall see.

Good luck and enjoy! I bought oblivion for xbox first and played it death, but recently bought it for PC to try it out with mods. This will hopefully keep me occupied till Skyrim now as there don't seem to be many great games coming out between now and then =[
