I have alot of games on PS3 including Oblivion GOTY and Fallout 3 and all my games play fine exept Fallout New Vegas.
I've never had to reset my ps3 because it have completely freeze with oblivion and thats a 2006 game (and i have play alot) !!


I was happy in front of the beautiful game menu of NEW VEGAS but when i try to play the game i always lose my progress.
How can we play a game that freeze almost always after 20 minutes of gameplay (or 30?...) Thats suppose to be an immersive game, we cant always save and restart the PS3 every 20-30 minutes...

Whats wrong there ?

I just barely started the game and I'm seriously considering to post videos on youtube showing that when we just play 20 minutes on this game, it COMPLETELY FREEZE the PS3 To discourage Playstation3 buyers because This game is NOW pratically unplayable exept for masochists.

I just start so I play the beginning of the tutorial with the geckos and then the girl just gave me a few 5.56 bullets and then when I'm behind her and follow, the PS3 completely freeze ...
( and I and You, WE! lose all our progress Thats so fun ! :celebration:

It made me want to throw it :brokencomputer:

How continue to play a glitchy game like that ?? :banghead:

Turn off the autosaves. Delete corrupt data on the PS3 through safe mode. Play slowly, let it load.

Is already growing very slowly in the game, I do not see how to move more slowly(to progress more slowly), the game crash at the beginning when I'm quietly following behind the girl and his dog in the tutorial... Thats incredible, it is a SHAME for the Playstation 3.

Oblivion and Fallout was okay but the 2010 NEW VEGAS keep Freezing and crashing on PS3 (of course)
And I repeat that all my other games run well I was playing Oblivion almost without stopping before buying this slap in the face Fallout New Vegas

Fallout 3 at least had the merit of being playable, there with NEW VEGAS you got Fallout 3(,5) but unplayable.
Lets give $ 70 with taxes to Bethesda now. They will continue to carry games that do not work on PS3

What a disappointment is F:NV after playing Oblivion! On Playstation3 cause dont forget that here the luckys are Xbox possixrs and banks are the possixr of black monolith

Jokes of course I love all systems. I've had New Vegas for both PS3 and XBOX. But I don't have a PS3 anymore.

They stole our money by selling us a game that does not work on PS3 while all others games work fine

PS3 games are supposed to be as beautiful if not more than 360, but there are still companies like Bethesda who favors a platform to another. The graphics in Fallout 3 and New Vegas on PS3 are horrible but you know... if it was just that ... Oblivion is a masterpiece compared and thats an older game

It's impossible how the PS3 version is broken, if I have a Xbox 360 I would not buy this game just because this company is not correct and does not care about theirs players and customers

Check your disk for nicks, scratches, or smears. My copy of NV crashes from time to time as well, but nowhere near that often (every 90 minutes or so is par). The game's buggy, but it's not THAT buggy.

F3 is definitely the better game, in terms of performance. Kind of odd, since the two games use the same emgine.

My game disc is brand NEW from Store. No scratch or nothing trust me.

How can this be normal for people to reset the playstation3 when the game always crash
I was supposed to play this game for months but i cant play 20 minutes without a Complete PS3 CRASH.

Buy Fallout New Vegas and trying to play it

Just to clarify that my PS3 is indeed connected to the internet and when I installed the game, I installed the latest update on startup too
but the game is always unplayable due to complete freezes of the PS3 console and the loss of steady progress at almost every 20 minutes / a half hour (and probably others action in the game cause it to crash too its so buggy)

Same happens to me . So annoyed. Can you download the game to the harddrive will that help ? I thought at first my PS3 was overheating but its fine with every other game i have . I have sent an email to gamesas . Lets see what the response is . Or in the meantime if anyone has any good advive ? Are there any updates i can download ? Oh i forgot PSN network is off and has given my bank details away . Whoah ! Been with Sony since PS1 may have to go over to xbox ...not good

Others multi platform games all play fine on PS3 from the oldy Oblivion to even Assassin Creed series, GTA4, Red Dead Redemption etc......................... they all play without any problemsss
(Fallout3 bug but not as much as new vegas)

Bethesda just enjoy his license that sells and act as if the PS3 version did not exist when it is time to fix all the problemsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss with s

and Unfortunately, you cant put games on hard drive on Playstation3
but The updates on PS3 work even if the psn currently dont work

Additionally don't overwrite saves always save to a new file.
