There would be no split in the console community.
Not having all maps in rotation in crysis 2 was a huge contributing factor to the DLC death.
People should buy it.

If it's a problem with the price I don't think it will drop considering the crysis 2 DLC is still full price.
I had some reservations but after playing these amazing maps and modes I can say they are definitely worth the money.

This game in Europe costs 20$ (15€), a third of the full game. Even if it is good and worth buying, it is even more worth telling EA to gtfo and that we are not paying the 33% of a full game′s price for a 5% of the total game′s content.

This is what is called vote with your wallet. And unfortunatelly not enough people do it considering how the DLCs are getting more retarded everyday to the point that Metro Last Light is selling a SP difficulty as DLC on release and balantly calling it "how the game is meant to be played".

I agree that the paid DLC splits the community.

The DLC should therefore have been free, or an expansion for the multiplayer.

Those arguing against free DLC need to understand the benefits of presenting a small community with free content. I'm not greedy, I do not feel entitled, I just hate how this DLC has (once again) split the community.

As far as I understood.....if so many people buy the DLC that all servers have those DLC maps/modes in the playlist, then a player who hasn't bought the DLC, won't even be able to play the MP.
Somehow it feels like a way to force people to buy the DLC if they want to keep playing. I'd prefer the old getting-kicked-when-a-DLC-map-starts-method.

Aside from that --> CLAW is between Scar and Mk60? You know, in C2 everyone wanted a full-auto Grendel. They got it with the DLC-gun FY71, which was so damn overpowered that it was banned on most servers. So now we have the next step, right? A mix from Scar and Mk60. Just...no, I really don't understand their minds.
