I know this was kind of a joke post, but you lost me with the first point. There are no female avatars, so it really does fail at "be who you are".
I read the whole female thread. . .and there were some good points. I also watched the developer video about how hard of a decision it was to just have males. So let's take a look at why they made the right choice:
1 . The Rendering of BOOBSOk I think we have all played Soul Caliber or Dead or Alive Franchises. . .To make the briasts jiggle and bounce is not something easy to do. And let's all face it, weather your a gentleman or not, I like BOOBS to have some personality to them, not just exist as stationary objects.
2. The Amount Of Customization OptionsOk so fine, you get a female avatar. Now what? Dress her in male clothes? Now not only would Splash Damage have had to render a female body, but hair, clothes, accessories. . .etc. That would get a bit excessive and frankly the ratio to guy gamer to girl gamer is like 25/1. I am not being a bigot just pointing out simple facts. Besides, the Wii is the women gaming rig of choice from what I see. That and the iPhone. . .
3. LoadingSit here for five minutes staring at this screen before you read this. Then sit here and stare five more minutes before you reply to this. I think BRINK does any excellent job of keeping the load times decent and complementing to the game.
Cheers!
