ugh

Burn him on the stake for having an opinion and arguments that are plausible!

Argh...

Your arguments are not based on reason or experience, but blips from biased journalists bloggers. Bloggers who apparently don't understand how objective maps work.

Quit acting like a martyr, your getting flammed for acting trollish. It is one thing to be soured by an experience and then become vocal about it on a forum. Create your thread, and express yourself. Keep that thread alive if it is that important to you. But don't follow people around trying to start arguments.

Never said my arguments are based on experience but I got reason plenty. And I never said anything bad about the objective gameplay. Seeing that one journalist does not represent much...Alot more journalists do. More reviewers complain about the same thing. I am not trollish, I stated what is considered a problem by many and denied by you. You don't mind all the 'flaws' almost every journo throws at you. But alot of people do mind. The only trollish acts that are being commited are against me. Raging and deny has so far been the putrid filth that has been spewed over me.

Get over the fact that Brink has issues.

I know most of you don't view them as such but apparently many people do.

I would agree that the game has issues. Unfortunately, you have never played it, so you have no say. Doesn't matter how many reviews you read.

I know this was kind of a joke post, but you lost me with the first point. There are no female avatars, so it really does fail at "be who you are".

I read the whole female thread. . .and there were some good points. I also watched the developer video about how hard of a decision it was to just have males. So let's take a look at why they made the right choice:

1 . The Rendering of BOOBS

Ok I think we have all played Soul Caliber or Dead or Alive Franchises. . .To make the briasts jiggle and bounce is not something easy to do. And let's all face it, weather your a gentleman or not, I like BOOBS to have some personality to them, not just exist as stationary objects.

2. The Amount Of Customization Options

Ok so fine, you get a female avatar. Now what? Dress her in male clothes? Now not only would Splash Damage have had to render a female body, but hair, clothes, accessories. . .etc. That would get a bit excessive and frankly the ratio to guy gamer to girl gamer is like 25/1. I am not being a bigot just pointing out simple facts. Besides, the Wii is the women gaming rig of choice from what I see. That and the iPhone. . .

3. Loading

Sit here for five minutes staring at this screen before you read this. Then sit here and stare five more minutes before you reply to this. I think BRINK does any excellent job of keeping the load times decent and complementing to the game.

Cheers!

why is splash damage giving console all the love.
even their executive tournament last week is on console. i thought they excel in pc

I have a feeling that I am viewed as somewhat of a bad guy. The antagonist, lord sauron, bowser or whatever.

Should this forum be a real world it would be like me trying to explain that the earth is not flat and that you do not fall of the edge should you venture to much towards the horizon. Like in the medieval ages you know.

Blasphemy! Blasphemy!

I think the issue is your avatar. Excuse me while I go have nightmares. . .
