So guys... what are you planning on keeping? As much detail as you like...
For me, I'm thinking starting off with the unnofficial patches and COBL/ COBL races as a base, putting some of my favorite texture packs on along side HGEC and Robs Male Body.... and pretty things up with OBGE plugins. Then start expanding things with Better Cities, and adding Elsewyre and Valenwood Improved (never tried either!). Then FCOM (hopefully a good stable one) to keep things interesting, and spice things up with some interesting gameplay mods like Deadly Reflex 5 (6 isn't for me, sadly) Companion Share and Recruit, and any other core gameplay mods I descover/ remember. Then I'll top things off with a few OMOD's I can save and turn on and off like Curse of Hicrine, Realistic Fatigue/Health/Sleep/Food/Drink, 28 Days and a Bit, and maybe some others.
All in all Im thinking this will take about a week to install... I had one set up of similar scale that was Full (and I mean Full) FCOM, Deadly Reflex, Better cities and CSR, and it worked brillaintly... but I kind of messed it up with other mods. Im also thinking of trying Nehrim and the russian mod, so MTES4 might come in handy

I was thinking as well... the amount of effort that goes into doing this, is there a way to immortalise it of sorts? Like spend ages on a perfect load order, once everything has been updated and the modders have packed up shop for skyrim, and then save it somewhere in its pristine state? After all, due to viruses, hardware failures, clean installs and other things, theres ultimatily going to be a point where everything gets deleted... does anyone know a way of saving it perminatly? Does saving your .INI and Oblivion folder actually work?
Food for thought... lets hear some load orders
