I have a friend(CoD [censored](I like CoD too, but I'm not a CoD [censored])) and he's like...

"Brink looks [censored]ing stupid."
Me:"Why?"
Him: "Uh... It... Uh..."
Me: "Exactly."
Him: "Well, you can... Uh... Mantle... In CoD..."
Me: "Ughh... Can you do parkour moves in CoD? Can you throw Molotov cocktails in CoD? Can you customize your character in CoD? Is there ANY teamplay whatsoever in COD? Are the graphics this good in CoD? Oh yeah, and you can't disagree that the story in CoD svcks. Big time."
Him: "F - word."

Good ending. He is now thinking about actually getting it.

While I agree that Brink is much better than CoD, Black Ops and the Modern Warfares actually had great stories.

I'm not sure if too many COD.whatevers while continuously play BRINK. Might not be their cup of tea. I can, however, see Battlefield-Players see playing BRINK because it doesn't have all those stupidly powerful vehicles.

Wait, what? The Story of Modern Warfare 2 was absolutely stupid and redundant. The plot was basicly "Russians are evil, we have to rot them out before they kill us all."

And that permanent character-hopping was absolutely [censored].

I wasn't too impressed by the Blops story, really. But at least it was a ... sort of ... plausible story, not simple justification for much all the action they want to show.

Folks, I wouldn't waste too much time trying to convert a lot of COD people. The vast majority will NOT like this game, just like most of us don't like COD. I'd say focus on getting the word out to fans of Team Fortress, Battlefield, KillZone, Socom/MAG, etc. These are the players that are looking for a game with more substance. These are the players that will play for a while, not just pick it up for 2 weeks, complain that it svcks(cause it's not COD) and then drop it.

Some spoilers ahead for Call of duty: Blackops

Blackops story for me was competley stupied and predictable, in the begining i saw that

and i was like "That will have no imporatance" but figured it out about half way through.

Reznov poped up in unlikley places and i could tell he was not real in the missions hes in after the prison level.

Before i got to the end i figured out most of the stuff,

the numbers that were in his head had barley anything to do with the story, the entire time it sounded liek they were very important but in the end somehow he remebers the name of the boat cause of the numbers

which makes no sense, the story was very VERY disapointing and was stupied and cliche, if anything Mw2 had a better story, the only reason i got blackops was because of nazi zombies which turned out not to be what i expected, i still play WaW nazi zombies and im most likley not getting the map packs for blackops.
