oooookay so the side quest in novac where you have to kill the nightkin that is killing the brahmin, you remember?


okay so i killed him, and he respawns
first time he was just hangin out right next to the house where you do the quest by the fence

second time he was over by no barcs house directly behind the hotel, invisible!

so hilarious and i know for a fact its not a different nightkin.... all 3 so far have had (i believe the book is called the screams of brahmin, and the same minigun)

Most likely the same but sadly for me he never moved out of his spot.
He just stood there where I killed him and was invisible forever.

After killing him a few times in the usual spot he respawned by the steps to the souvenir shop. No one seemed bothered by him so I let him be.

I managed to tell the mcbrides thy were fine after the second time but. Maybe it's random

Did you take the note from his body?

The actor base this nightkin uses is marked as respawn (an oversight) so he will always respawn with all of his inventory.

i'm having an issue with this nightkin too. i'll trigger the quest, stand outside by the pen, and the nightkin will slowly walk over to the brahmin pen, but he is not hostile. he ends up just standing next to the pen not doing anything. i have to attack for him to become hostile, but then he runs away. i've killed him, recovered the note, but i can't turn in the quest. dusty keeps asking me for progress, but my only available reply is no. first playthrough i'm having a problem with this, any workarounds?

In my current game I happened across this respawned nightkin and was going to kill him. I heard a glowing ghoul running towards me so I took care of him first. As I turned towards the nightkin he laughed and said, "funny robot make blinky sounds" he was talking about Ed-e so I couldn't bring myself to kill him again. I hung around for a while listening to him, some of his idle pvssyr was quite interesting.
