What I think some people fail to recognize is that Morrowind in it's vanilla console state had huge exploits, glitches. and other crap that "ruined" the game. Nowadays, game developers strive to make everything user friendly and personally stated- it's made everyone a baby. I totally blame WoW for this, and I think a lot of other people do as well. They totally conformed to everyone's wishes and now look at the game.
People cry about everything not being perfect. Does anyone ACTUALLY step back for a moment and realize what a feat this game is? I mean how many hours of exploring different ideas did the developers have to put into it to make it what it is?
Having said that, I think there is an obvious need to fix glitches and I am not opposed to change, I just wonder how many of you think some people are being total babies?
The past few days there have been some complaints from people that just want babied.
1. The map svcks, too many clouds! No roads! No real idea where I am going even though there are ICONS and a COMPASS.
2. Destruction is weak, I can't exploit the living crap out of it like melee can. This game svckS!
3. The UI isn't a list, it should be. What's with the originality?! This game bloooows.
4. Horses try to fight everything. Totally unrealistic. Then if they don't die, THEY RUN?! BLASPHEMY!
5. (INSERT SKILL) is too hard to level! Make it easier! God!
6. The default keys on PC are stoopid. Alt to run, tab to open inv? GOD PAY ATTENTION! I DON'T WANT TO SET MY KEYS MANUALLY!
7. Followers svck in this compared to other games. They should be able to kill all my stuffs no problemz, and nevar diez, evar. Period.
8. The game is short! I mean come on!? Main story only THAT LONG?! WHO CAREZ BOUTS SIDE QUESTS N STUFF.
Seriously, I understand bugs and certain issues. I'm not saying these are all terrible reasons either. I just don't think anyone really realizes how good of a game Skyrim really is.
TLDR: Go back ten years, play a game that didn't have a tenth of Skyrim's features, and call it fun- because it was.
ps. I know feedback is important and I am not trying to push people away from doing so. I just feel the need to say some peoples reasons are ridiculous. Anyone else agree?
