A few questions....

Just how big are the maps of this game?

Is there a way to sneak around? Not camo obviously, but some cloak and dagger tactics

Are there special animations for assassinations?

Will lighter roles have an advantage over anybody?

Will my gear affect my aesthetics? Such as a bandoleer perk

Not sure about the map size
As far as sneaking goes its all about choosing paths that aren't being watched so comes down to situational awareness
No special animations that Im aware of
Lighter roles have more options as far as moving around the maps than mediums, heavys cannot do things like wall jumps and the more technical parkour movements
When you add drum magazines and scopes and such your gun does look different (you can also put on gun skins similar to CoD's gun camos)

hope this was helpful.... cheers

1. The maps should be large as they are objective based and in order for one side to win they have to complete several objectives. So the maps should be fair sized.
2. Operatives can disguise themselves as an enemy that is incapacitated. So no stealth but they can look like an enemy team member.
3. "Assassination" animations are new to me and something I have not heard of before.
4. Lighter body types have less health then the other body types but they are faster and can use parkour moves to get to places other body types can't reach and pull off special SMART moves.
5. I would guess something like an ammo bandoleer would give the character a model. Or, there could be an option to toggle it on or off which would be nice.

as an aside.... you have to choose what to use your experience points on... Id focus on skills / attachments before changing the color of my gun but to each their own

Big. Somewhere nearing a square mile.

Is there a way to sneak around? Not camo obviously, but some cloak and dagger tactics
You can simply run around, and so as long as no one sees you or hears you fire a weapon or hears you run, you won't show up on the radar. No other ways to sneak around.

Are there special animations for assassinations?
Yes - I know there is an animation for finishing off an incapped enemy with a melee. It takes some time to complete, however.

Will lighter roles have an advantage over anybody?
Much faster speed, much stronger SMART, and simply better in every way to get around the map.

Will my gear affect my aesthetics? Such as a bandoleer perk
Not at all. Your clothing is only for show and nothing more.

And as far as disguising yourself as an enemy, the effect disappears when you attack an enemy, utilize and objective / command post... pretty much do anything besides move around the map. Also enemy operatives can see through disguises and if you get close, enemy medics / soldiers can try to give you heals / ammo which can give you away.
Ive heard that enemies can give you hp / ammo buffs but only on forums, not from a dev (if anyone has a link id love to see it)
hope this helps

Small to medium. 8 v 8 objective maps.

Operatives disguise and hack open doors. Flanking routes and light only areas.

Are there special animations for assassinations?

No assassinations or OHKs. No canned animation at all, a knocked down enemy can be incapped with a melee attack. Any incapped enemy will be finished with one melee attack.

Will lighter roles have an advantage over anybody?

Speed, SMART, and light only areas.

Will my gear affect my aesthetics? Such as a bandoleer perk

The maps are probably fairly big, but the action is always focused on a certain, smaller part of the map (Near the next core and side objectives)

Very promising, I have been following this since i saw the videos in the bowels of Xbox marketplace

The fact that light players won't show up on radar makes me extremely happy, sneaky sneaky...

There is a goldmine of information on here that I didn't even know about, thanks guys.

How about some game play videos?

They do show up on map, you have to take abilities, use attachments, not fire your guns to not show up though

I knew that you didn't have to fire your gun, and silencers should be one of those attachments, what about abilities though?

Silencers for guns. Silent footsteps ability for running or SMART near enemies.

at the start of the video around 0:12 is that the barrett? slower, but as shown has quite a big fire power, eh?

and at 1:00 is the drognav? - has quite a kick back on that one. 2:10 - also another drognav? it doesn't resemble one to me.

Im just trying to compare fire rates.

Cheers.

EDIT: Im going to take this to the forum actually. Thanks for the video, Dark_star.
EDIT: Too lazy to take anything anywhere, except Brink to my Xbox.

Container City felt like 3 times Dust2 to me. But it might be 4 times.

If you're running nearby an enemy player, you will show up on his radar (basicly sound-wh.ring for everyone). Using the silent footsteps ability, however, will change this.

A couple of points worth mentioning about Disguise - which weren't mentioned by anyone else yet...

1. You use Disguise AFTER killing, not while they're incapped.
2. The person you're Disguised as can identify you no matter what their class.

Also, does anyone have any interviews or previews confirming that Operatives see through disguises? Because I'm pretty sure I've only seen that information on the forums, and while it seems to make sense that Ops would do it, I remember reading in an early preview (I think it was IGN) that ONLY the person you Disguised as can pick you out.
