I swear once you get to a certain level, restoration spells and reanimate spells dont work on (ok not most) encounters. Guess the only option is to chug potions every 30 seconds.

Leveled enemies, read the descriptions of spells at times, or use uesp and check what level a certain spell can effect to.
If you think that's your only option, think some more.
dual casting restoration spells + necromage are still not good enough for the higher undead. Besides drinking a potion that fortifies it , is there really anything else i can do to buff it?

I have no problem killing anything, but conjuration and restoration spells stop being effective to the higher leveled enemies, i want to use spells not melee.

Even a proper Mage knows sometimes you have to draw a weapon in a jam or fall prey to the hubris of their skill.

I appreciate the help though!
Even Gandalf and Merlin had to draw a blade sometimes when the crap got thick. It happens. Adapt, make yourself an enchanted blade with some really good enchantments on it, carry it as a "just in case" weapon and you should be good.

I suppose it at least keeps things interesting, that way its not illusion where you can defeat anything (cept dragons but you could use bend will)
