Its called system.cfg and its not in that path. Its in the game folder. :)

There is also an ingame console with the "§" button.

Basically. In his first thread, Will posted part of the system.cfg file, and it had r_displayInfo set to 1.

How nice of them to give us access to the console. Say bb to the ocean of blur and glow! And ofc bb to the stupid AA method forced by crytek down our throats!

Edit: wut? We CAN'T alter the game settings? We are FORCEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD to play with this retarded amount of blur and glow and on top of it, an extremely stupid AA solution?
FU CRYTEK! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

such as?

btw r_displayinfo isnt a working command in the developer console.. I wonder.

g_skipintro=1
g_language = English
cl_fov=75
r_DrawNearFoV=75
pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov=75
i_mouse_smooth=0
i_mouse_accel=0
cl_sensitivity=4

Thats what I have in the config. Im goin to test if they work, Fov and all.

You could already turn off blur and bloom in the demo, I'm pretty sure you can do it in the retail game also. The commands gotta be all there even if changed, the console wouldn't really be of any use if you couldn't directly edit the cvars.

Willertz, try r_glow 0 and r_motionblur 0 and see if the commands exist and they have any effect.

For me I'd really like to find out the command to display framerate and DX version.

Your pictures hurt your argument. There's no AA settings, there's only presets. What if I could run the Very High preset perfectly if I could turn off the AA? Well since I can't manually adjust the AA, looks like I gotta settle for High instead. That's stupid. And I read an article somewhere (on these forums) that stated the gamer, advanced, hardcoe settings were changed to good, high, and very high. If that's the case, there's even less credibility to your argument.

Since you actually have the game, it would have been far more helpful for you to have actually posted screenshots of the campaign on the very high settings so we could compare those to the demo and Crysis 1.

I think you should do that now.

r_glow 0 in the shortcut for the demo worked for me but r_motionblur 0 never disabled the fracking motion blur. Am I missing something?

Please let us know Willertz if you can get rid of motion blur for sure. That shizzle is horrid.

I′ve already done that in my retail graphic thread. Search for it.
