Threw my copy of NV out the window, and came back to FO3.
Shame it was so buggy for you. My copy was near perfect and I've spent 100+ happy hours with New Vegas -- guess it's just luck of the draw.
Though, I'm intrigued; what did you mean by saying ''it's not like a Fallout game?'' Okay, I'm paraphrasing a bit, but I think I'm on the right lines.
Is New Vegas really that bad? I've been hearing a lot of hate for it lately. I told myself I wouldn't judge it untill I played it myself, but I dunno... :unsure2:
Like I said, it's a fantastic game, but for some it's proved buggy beyond all hell. If you're on the fence, I suggest you wait until the price drops.
Anyway, evil chat.
'Evil' is subjective, and my character's actions are very morally gray, so I'll let the good people decide for themselves.
Today, Jack, along with his elite squad, wandered the area surrounding Tenpenny Tower, looking for wastelanders to save. Save as in put them out of their misery. I see this people living an uphill battle against starvation, dehydration, and disease each day of their life -- they're not living; they're simply existing for another day, another miserable day. As well as plaguing my tower, they're a danger to all prospering locals.
I could enslave these people, yes, but that's even more cruel.
Though, not all wastelanders I come across are fit for extermination; some have established shelters with food and water, and have set up defense systems around their base. Very impressive, indeed, and could be of much use in the future.
But don't get me wrong, if this person shows clear signs of being a junkie or any other form of human scum, they will feel a righteous hammer of justice fall upon their head. They infect good people with their filth, and Jack (and I, for that matter), sees the best way to deal with an infection is to kill it off. Simple.
So, does this classify as evil?
