Evil threats?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 3:37 pm

Ok, I'm wondering, is there any paticular race other than The Daedra, that has posed much threat to Nirn, im not talking you're average army of undead spear headed by evil demi-god lich's or necromancers, something else entirely, i cant find any race in TES Lore that would cause racial or cultural genocide if they where to rise in power, other than the Aylieds which are supposedly extinct.

This is for an RP, Id rather not resort to making up my own race for the RP's sake, so i thought id check here first :)

P.s if im not making sense, i havent sleapt in two days, im feeling pretty drunk from lack of sleep :) thanks in advance

Edit: Also, Races with a vendetta for evil abominations/Lycanthropes/vampires would be helpful :)

I'd doubt it; I don't think there's been any race that has been so antagonistic against Nirn as the Daedra. TAMRIEL, maybe, but not Nirn entirely.

The Tsaesci of Akavir. (Eat it to become it.)

The High Elves. (Return to nonlineal time.)

I was initialy thinking of Tsaesci, nothing worse than vampire snakes i guess, but i cant think of a plausable reason that they would be hiddin within Cyrodil for centuries, underground, without food or water. :( damn

Aylieds would be possible.. a town frozen in time because their sorceror king tried to return his realm to a state of non linear time (Non linear before Aylieds right? or was that after Whitestrakes crusade?)

The Sload almost wiped out all of Tamriel, and rumors persist that they have returned.

Yeah, but that's been done to death. How about Sloads? Not very likely, but they did cause a plague that wiped out half of Tamriel.

Edit: Beat to it.

Sloads spread plague and are brilliant necromancers.

Ayleids and some hardcoe Altmer want to stop linear time and return the universe to a pre-genesis state.

Tsaesci are vampire snake men that already conquered Tamriel once before.

Where did it say that the Altmer wanted to stop linear time? I'm just curious, I never heard that before.

The Tsaesci didn't conquer Tamriel, although one of them did rule it.

That's the whole basis of their belief system. They dislike NIRN and want to go back to how it was before. That includes non-linear time.

Eh, same thing. They conquered using sneakiness and smooth words instead of force.

I think we all can agree that it could wind up destroying ALL universes, real, imagined, or unimagined - EVERYWHERE.

All i know about Sload are that they have no emotions.. i think

They look like giant slugs... I'll dig up a picture of N'gasta the Sload.

Sloads have emotions kind of. They just dont have or dont think in the same way as most other races.

http://screenshots.filesnetwork.com/95/others/sload.jpg I like.

They look like Hutts with legs. I wonder if the resemblance is intentional; after all, both are patient, lethargic, and incredibly amoral.

Not really, otherwise the Hutts would be much more powerful then what they're. It's a reason why they're still on only a few planets.

The fact that overgrown slugs have risen to power as businesspeople and crime lords pretty shows that they're smart. But this is getting off-topic. Both Hutts and Sloads are large amoral slug-people.

We're always getting off-topic.
And yes Hutts is smart but not as smart as the Sloads atleast not as stubborn to find the perfect resolution.

Hutts svck... (BTW i used to play star wars galaxies :) ), they have their own private army, bbut they dont spread their influence very far (naboo being the farthest) they are contracted by the empire to smuggle items of a questionable nature into areas where they are illeagle.. the empire not wanting the stigma involved with handeling such items.. erm any ways,

On topic, anybody know some general information on Sloads? Life span? origin? general motives (what they hate above all else? what they like?) etc??
