could be a kumquat. A really snowy kumquat that is devoured by dragons with grey beards.

I had told my friends for years that I thought it would take place in Skyrim, So when I watched the trailer I went crazy. I must have watched it like 5 times in a row.

I kind of really don't like teaser trailers.... I mean,... I understand there purpose obviously... to Tease, but I wish that wasn't the trend. Every time, I see a teaser I get excited and hit a high then that gives way to an annoyed feeling that the trailer told me almost nothing.

How I wish the trend was lets create an awesome trailer that at least shows something of what the game looks like, even if it is mixed with CG elements.. Maybe, WOW the fans, instead of tease them?..

Teaser trailers honestly just piss me off..

But oh well, they can do what they want,... and we'll get info soon enough

Maybe Beth went with a teaser trailer this time 'cause last time they showed Oblivion videos with actual lush forests, only to find that technology wasn't up to par yet with what I guess they were trying to pull off.

<<< Please see my location to the left of me as an explanation of how excited I am <<<

As for the trailer... I jumped up and danced for a few minutes and then tried to do a back flip which epicly failed...

Yeah, dunno... Maybe fifteen minutes after the VGA Announcement i was really excited, more than in a long time, and fetched myself some Gin Tonic, but after half a glas is was more like: "... And ... what is this game all about?" And now i'am just bored, really. I mean, i check this site every day, and every day there is no new information, and i can't get the January GameInformer, so, yeah... "When we show it, we want to show a lot" Yeah, right, they haven't shown it yet, so no promise is broken. But srlsy, I'm not impressed. When Todd announced the game, the tension that was build up while waiting for an announcement was broken and that trailer didn't reveal anything besides "Yeah, there are dragons", but hey, thats kind of... well... like saying "It's a fantasy game... with magic!" So we have to wait 11 month, and then the game is there, and i will play it (hopefully) 200 hours, and then it will probably get boring and then i play a bit of Morrowind, but not for long, and then the waiting for the next game starts and i grow older and older and then i die and achieved nothing because all life has death in its deepest roots and the world will be svcked into the sun and the universe collapses into black holes and then there is nothing, and from the nothingness a knew universe is born, and the story repeats itself.

tl;dr: I'm bored, or rather, indifferent.

As for the trailer, I went bat[censored] when I first saw it during the VGAs. Epic nerdgasm.

That is exactly what i did. I literally squealed like a five year old girl, brought my knees to my chest, and started svcking my thumb with I heard "Todd"

It was an announcement. Nothing more. Nothing less. Kinda indifferent, other than it caused me to rejoin here and fire up Oblivion again.
Hopefully some real news will start appearing eventually. By the looks of the top sticky, I'm not holding my breath though.
I think it's a crime to the fans to make such shady deals with a game magazine, for a few dollars more...
Maybe that's the reason, but my excitometer is not reacting much at all. Getting excited now is just a waste of time anyway :P

I stared slack-jawed at the news headline for a few minutes before I watched the video. Then I had to watch it 3 or 4 times before it sunk in.

This part (in bold) from the news release has me really excited:

"We've been working for many years on Skyrim and the technology behind it. A new Elder Scrolls game has been a long time coming, and we can't wait to show it off."

The way I read it, is that they are going with a new technology other than the Gamebryo engine, which I think will be exciting. :D

I was woken by a text from a friend about the trailer. Thought I could shrug it off but then that night went online to see it and got seriously excited. Yes we might not have been shown much but as others have said at least it's something. That and the news taht a new engine being used.

I found out about it by seeing Gix's(best Morrowind let's play ever) reaction video come up in my subcriptionbox on youtube, and I just got super exicited. Then I watched the trailer a few times and get even more exicited... Then I started browsing around and was sorta disapointed that no info what so ever had been released along with the trailer :(
