Executions

I guess they should only have executions if you 1. Are able to escape them. 2. Are also able to pay off your inumerable bounty to some thieves guild member or corrupt politician, or (corrupt...) member of the guard or something and 3. Make it so when you escape, there should be a carriage waiting for you, so that you can get (like where I read in a thread a while ago [about werewolves...]) to take you to a safe house, and either pay off your bounty, or change your identity because if you cant pay off your bounty you would be a dead man walking the moment you went outside...

Maybe having something that's always set up for you (like a carriage, or a couple companions to fight off the guards) if you're the Grandmaster of the Dark Brotherhood, or Thieves Guild. Otherwise I think you gotta do it by yourself, or maybe if you pay for something from one of the "underground" guilds beforehand.

Yeah, maybe I was being a bit too overzealous, but still, carriage, but only if you're grand master of some guild... (That would bail you out that is >_>...) and the other stuff...

executions could be done like in rome back in the day where Christians were set loose in the coliseum against tigers or whatnot.
maybe they fight a gladiator?!?
maybe they get [censored] hard?

Why not? You would obviously need to have the ability to escape though otherwise it's pointless to see your character die that way...I think all three options on how to be executed should be present..it would simply be random

Explain this to me, because I don't think people have thought it through operationally. Are the guards able to somehow magically arrest you without a fight? Think about it:

If so, then why can I not fight back at THAT moment, when normally I can attack anyone I want? How is that not hugely frustrating and immersion-breaking?

If they can't arrest you, then how did I get to the gallows?

Do you see the breach in logic here?

Yes.

Executioner: Do you have any last words?
*The PC slowly turn his head to the executioner and gives a smile...*
PC: Fus Ro Dah!

Or...

Executioner: Do you have any last words?
PC:
*The executioner and the crowd look puzzled. Suddenly, the wind blows, a giant shadow begins to cover the area. For an instant, everyone become silent as they turn their heads to look up...*
