Exercise for skyrim

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 12:35 pm

Way ahead of ya. Been training strength and general conditioning for parkour for quite a while now, get up early and stretch every morning, eat lots of fruit, fish, etc. I don't drink alcohol, though, and at 5'7" I wouldn't make much of a nordic warrior I fear.

Train safe guys, especially if it's cold where you are - better to train sensibly and regularly than to go crazy all at once and spend the next two weeks recovering. :)

MWHAHHAHAA, I went to boot camp :P we definitely didn't "train safe", it was winter, cold, and crazy. Never ate any fruit or fish :P

Yeah! I've been working out weekly since November and have gained 5 pounds already (of muscle not fat lol, I's is skinny) Too bad I can't grow a proper beard yet :sadvaultboy:

Five pounds of muscle since November? That's impressive, good for you man  ! I think I'm going to try to get in better shape, I'm like you were in November, skin and bones! I'm 5'10 and 147 pounds so I'm not exactly a force to be reckoned with. I don't think I'm going to get a gym membership though. I'm too cheap :shifty: , but I'll try to get out more for starters, and I can always do push-ups, crunchies and the like.

I had a stake every Thursday :D Cereal in the morning, Basically everything a kid might find tasty, no vegetables, or fruits at all. Also hot chocolate with every meal. It was great ^_^, but we did work very hard, I think it was a great moral boost.

Thanks!

I use a set of 10-50 pound dumbbells (each), a yoga mat, a pull-up bar, and Scooby's Website. Here's the link, he's awesome (and very knowledgeable).

yes links are allowed so long as it's not to a scanned skyrim related non-public photo.

That's a horn of mead in my case. And broiled boar.

I've been working out for 20 years (started when I was 12, I'm now 32).

*cough* bench press over 400lbs *cough*

But I gotta say, thinking of Nords and Dragons and Skyrim is sure a good motivation when I'm feeling lazy.

Whats eksersis?

Before christmas I was actually jogging a couple times a week (first time in my life) and had (since summer) lost about 30 pounds. Since christmas I've put on 5 again :(. It's so hard to get out and run when it's -20. I do have an elliptical but its all covered with boxes.

"Well move the boxes!" You say.

"Good idea," I reply.

I want to get a jump rope too. Those are a very good workout!

Well, I exercise anyway, but I may need it. School will provide the greatest obstacle to my inevitable immersion...

Needless to say, TESV will be the best part of senior year.

that brings up memories...when I was in boot camp I couldn't really sleep, whenever I tried I'd dream I was doing sit ups and crunches....turned out I was in my sleep.
