Exercise for skyrim

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 1:03 pm

Well, my legs are starting to atrophy from all this forum posting :P, but that aside! We should exercise for skyrim to get more into a nordic shape :D (and to counteract our forum obsession :P) Who's with me! (You beard growing folk better be :toughninja: )

I certainly need it...I'm losing the good shape I had :(

If only I could locate a running route with some open WIFI networks...I could check the forums in each break.

You're right!

5 hours of Super Meat Boy a day it is. I can't have weak hands getting in the way of my playtime.

I'll rather stay inside my room for the next nine months. Can't let anything happen to my precious hands before the game comes out!

I'm not so much joining you as I'm just continuing to do what I've been doing since September.

I think that it's pretty cool that a video game of all things can inspire someone to get in shape though.

Yeah! I've been working out weekly since November and have gained 5 pounds already (of muscle not fat lol, I's is skinny) so hopefully by the time skyrim is released I'll be in proper Nordic shape. (or at least fit enough to run away from giant spiders and trolls lol).

Too bad I can't grow a proper beard yet :sadvaultboy:

I'll try my best!
and if skyrim doesn't work out as I want it to, I'll be in perfect shape to take my spear into the woods with rocket boots for levitation and I'll go kill some bears or something.

Heck why not? It's winter, it's cold. There's snow at my house, nothing better than a brisk morning run. :foodndrink:

Way ahead of ya. Been training strength and general conditioning for parkour for quite a while now, get up early and stretch every morning, eat lots of fruit, fish, etc. I don't drink alcohol, though, and at 5'7" I wouldn't make much of a nordic warrior I fear.

Train safe guys, especially if it's cold where you are - better to train sensibly and regularly than to go crazy all at once and spend the next two weeks recovering. :)
