Last night I was trying to get cured by Falkerai in Maraketh when he suddenly says.

"I have seen Dwemer and Falmers."

This is part of his standard talk I think.

Is he lying about the Dwemers?

Possible DLC?

You made the claim of a discovery of something in the game.

That something that you claimed to discover is actually a pretty big aspect of Elder Scrolls lore.

These forums are pretty well policed and EVERYTHING is subjective, it onlt takes one complaint for the mods to pounce. I want this topic to be in general discussion to be discussed as ACTUALLY SEEING A DWEMER would be a spoiler, rather than some random NPC speech.

If I posted a topic saying 'Mammoth Spotted on the Tundra' you could argue that would be a spolier for someone who has only played the game for an hour.

That said, EVERYTHING IN GENERAL DISCUSSION could be argued to be a spoiler.

Duh.

yeah reporting him was kinda a **** move man he didnt do anything wrong this is up for discussion but in reality there isnt much of a controversy i seriously doubt there are any dwemer in game and after 100 or more hours i have yet to see anything aside from centurions thats not a spoiler thats just a world fact

Reporting just flags the topic to mods as far as I know. It doesn't necessarily mean it's going to get deleted, or that the reporter wanted it to be. In this instance the moderator just moved it. Calm down guys.

The game has been out for less than a month.

Not everyone has experienced every piece of content the game has to offer.

This is a spoiler.

Even with Oblivion, 5 years after release, subjects regarding questlines and guild story arcs all go in the spoiler section, despite how many people already know about it.

Since this is in the spoilers group I CAN confirm there are Falmer (the predecessors of the Elves mentioned in Bloodmoon) and there are dwemer artifacts (dwarven perhaps - but - clearly like the Morrowind dwemer junk.)

I've eaten plenty of falmer ears and that do taste a bit pointy.

Go WEST and do favors for mages.

It would be a spoiler if the existence of the Dwemer was actually confirmed in the game, but since they clearly are not in the game it is not a spoiler.

FYI there are dragons in this game too.

Dwemer aren't in-game, only their creations. I think Shelob is just trying to spread false information again. He helped start the Oblivion Gate in Skyrim rumor.
