exp glitches?

i started NV all over again about an hour ago, finished the tutorial, and went straight for the HELIOS ONE building, finished that quest, making sure to pick the "emergency output" power level, and went back to ignacio, or whatever his name is, and picked the option that ended the quest. normally, u can pick that option as many times as u want for 325-350 exp, and 2 stimpacks and doc bags, but it only worked once!!!!! what happened?!?!?! did they make a patch that i didn't download but somehow still worked?!?!

Sooner or later most Exploits get patched out of a game. Especially considering these were based on Borked Up Quest Stage Advancements.

I believe every exp exploit has been patched, well at least the majority of them anyway. There is nothing stopping you from deleting your cache however, and you can use the exploit offline if necessary.

I used exploits on FO3, and vowed never to on this one. Much more enjoyable just levelling normally.

yea, but i've beat it several times already, and i only have a PS3, so i wantd to see if it would be quite a bit easier if i was lvl 30 b4 doing anything major... and i have no clue what u mean by "deleting your cache" and using the exploits "off-line"

It's not like this game is super hard at lower levels. I have found that normal playthrough and leveling will get me the skills I need and the equipment I need as I go through the game.

That is fair enough. I didn't know what system you was using, and assumed it was the 360. I apologise. I'm sure there would be something similar with the PS3 though. I don't know about it though.

I know. I made a huge mistake using the exploit on FO3 as I previously said. svcked out most of the enjoyment of levelling to be honest. I'm currently Lv. 23, around 28k caps and good equipment. Level 30 will hopefully come in it's own time.

You can clear the installed game files in the Menu and that should clear out any patches. Until you go online the next time. While this should not effect Trophies and whatnot, proceed with caution. Most of the posts I see online say that Trophies and Achievments are preserved.
