i originally posted this in the general section when it should have been here so here it goes again:

where do the expansions start? i don't remember if i asked before or not. i honestly have the worlds worst memory so i sincerely appologise if i have already asked. i will open a book to look something up and flip a few pages and forget what i opened the book for it is seriously frustrating
anyway:

i am thinking that the shivering isles starts with the quest "a door in niben bay"???


i got a reply but it just said to read the pop-ups which i do. that's why i think the "door in niben bay" is to the "shivering isles"???
i don't recal any pop-up giving clues to the "knights of the nine"

any help would be great.

For Knights you want to speak to the prophet in Anvil about the attack there. You can overhear people speaking about it.

The door is to Shivering Isles, just head there. For Knights, as stated above, the guy is in anvil in the "pavilion/garden" across from the chapel. You can't miss probably preaching or sleeping on his bedroll

A Strange Door in Niben Bay is indeed the starting quest for the Shivering Isles. Go there and you will find a strange island in the bay, once you are there, well, it will be obvious.

For KotN you can also hear rumors about the Anvil chapel from NPC:s. Never played that one though, but Shivering Isles was a blast! Well, not that I did the MQ, but exploring was ever so much fun!
