I expected lots of pop-in and aliasing, but....

...why is it so freaking washed out? My settings are RGB full& all that jazz & Ive even turned the game brightness way down below where it says to be able to barely see the icon...vids on Youtube dont look like this so is this something to do with the ps3 version? Is it a glitch where the in game brightness wont save? This reminds me of he glitch on 360 2 years ago with the static & interference lines that never had an explanation or got fixed.

Yeah my eyes hurt because of the MP graphics i even lied to my girl since i told her it was going to look better lol and it didn't it feels good but it looks ugly i haven't played the campaign which i know is going to look way better, I hope they patch the online graphics like they did with Battlefield 3 online other than that i kind of like this game more than Crysis 2.

Well I finally got the brightness settings corrected by turning the brightness way down of course this makes dark corners too dark but honestly this game is so bad right now with lag & hit detection problems and it just feels too sloppy when aiming down the sights so I'm just gonna take it back tomorrow. I didn't think anything could be worse than Far Cry 3 multiplayer but this is easily a lot worse and I didn't think anything could touch black ops 2 when it comes to lag & hit detection issues but again I wish I'd kept black ops 2 as bad as it is because it was more fun than this game. this feels more like a patch or map pack for crysis 2 than anything else.

i have noticed from footage that the maps we no/less vegetation looks much much better, the consoles obviously can't handle lots of vegetation.
the single player looks great though but it always does as there is much less going
never the less for ancient consoles the game still looks great

Probably done this way to keep the frame rate from crashing and burning.

Frame rate's the one thing that's bothering me. It feels like 12 god damn fps. I really do hope the campaign is better

It's not great but I think it would be even worse. These visuals are a bit much for this generation of consoles.

I notice when the frame rate drops it affects the graphics, looks blurry or grainy. At times when it runs at 30fps the graphics looks ok. Locking the frame rate at 30 on consoles is a problem for crytek. Bf3 frame rate is much better than this and has decent graphics...crysis 2 was released before bf3 and had frame rate issues now crysis 3 released after over a year after bf3 and still has frame rate problems. It seems crytek created cryengine 3 with little concern for consoles.
