Decades after the Oblivion crisis, Tamriel entered a renaissance, where people across Tamriel began studying more of the other parts of Nirn and sailing to other places. Akavir was found by an Altmer named Gilbert Wallace, and he made several journeys back and forth, spreading information about this newfound continent. After this happened, a Dunmer named Thelias Armadius, who lived in Lilmoth, Black Marsh, had been studying an ancient continent southeast of Cyrodiil named Pyandonea. Intrigued and inspired, Thelias bought a boat named the Green Veil, and began searching for people to come along with him. Several people, afraid of not coming back or the journey being too long and never making it, held back the idea. Others believed the continent didn't even exist. Regardless, people did approach and sign up to join the crew.

This is the signup. Some of you may have already saw the other thread, but this is the signup. Post bios if you want to join, but I'll make mine later.

Dude... anyone who stepped foot in Akaviri would've been wrecked. It's a good idea, but it seems a bit far-fetched.

Where's the Rules?
What do you want us to contribute to the rp?
Where's the character sheet requirements and example at?
How will we know where to start?
We're going to rp for the first 3 pages about riding on a boat with study-anxious nerds...
We need some general direction. Not that the idea itself is all bad. It just needs some tidying up.
(And the font hurts my eyes...) haha

I only had like a minute left to be on, so I was in a rush and I'm in a rush again. Can't you wait a little more time?

I don't know how much lore is written about Pyandonea but I imagine not much. So you would be forced to do some serious world building.

Also, the names for the Altmer and Dunmer are not lore friendly. It's just one of those things that make me cringe.

If it isn't lore friendly, oh well, because I don't go look up stuff like that on google. Just bear with it.
In other news.. I am going to set up a character sheet now, so you guys could actually make one..

Name:

Age:(Not too young, or old, but it kind of depends on your race)

Gender:

Race:

Birthsign:

Home Province:(State which province you are from, born from, etc.)

Skilled in:(Put what you're best at, like cooking, archery, blades, magicka, alchemy, and all other things you could imagine.)

Job you applied for:(Things your character wanted to be, such as boat controller, guard, janitor, person who watches for land, and anything you could make up that's acceptable.)

Appearance:

Clothing:

Armor:(Highest type of armor obtainable is steel/chainmail)

Weapons:(Highest type of weapons material obtainable is steel, unless you have a very logicial explanation)

Personality:

History:(No, you didn't watch your parents be brutally murdered by Bandits when you were five and sworn revenge. And, no, you aren't a bad-ass assassin.)

_______________________________________________________

RULES
Use your imagination.

Cursing? As far as the rules go. And don't curse in every freaking sentence you type.

No, and I mean NO godmodding.

No controlling other characters without their permission.

No killing other characters without their permission.

I am the god of the RP. What I say goes, regarding major events or NPCs. If you don't like it, go somewhere else.

Romance is allowed, but if you have intercorse, you are not allowed to include any detail whatsoever, you just say you went in, did what you did, and got out. No questions.

USE PROPER GRAMMAR AND SPELLING. YOU CANNOT BE DRUNK 24/7!!!!
"frAnk wennt into teh houes adn sayd, 'haha you svck i rule' then dRakn sum bere"
If you post ANYTHING like that, you are immediately kicked out until you learn grammar and spelling.

Lol. That almost looks exactly like what dingo2 said in Ragtag Reapers when he introduced his character.

That was a VERY embarrassing moment.. I've been using that expression as an example of what you shouldn't write for ages now.

Akavir and Pyandonea are on different sides of the world. And although Pyandonea is also a dangerous place, I would imagine it is large enough that its inhabitants may miss a single ship.

I know. I KNOW..

I only had like a minute left to be on, so I was in a rush and I'm in a rush again. Can't you wait a little more time?

Then don't post the thread until you have enough time to make it worthwhile :P What's the rush?

Indeed, please take lots of time and plan this out well. Nothing would be worse than an island with facts made up on the spot. I would guess snakes would be commonplace, and perhaps even an Amazon-like atmosphere to it.

If it isn't lore friendly, oh well, because I don't go look up stuff like that on google. Just bear with it.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page And for names, http://www.imperial-library.info/zeph/TES_Tre_2.shtml

But really, take a look at some of the advice threads and very well made RPs for some hints on running one. I have faith in your abilities, but it never hurts :) Thanks, keep it up :goodjob:
