My experience so far.

Played up a Solder to lvl 11 and a Medic to lvl 10. If you can call it that, well I place my points there.

I have played through all challenges, campaign on both sides and even got into a few multiplayer games in "Old School", no bots, was only players on both sides 4vs4.

I have had one freeze, after completeing the full campagin first run and I aborted and went to menu..as I realized the missions started over. At the menu, it froze.
So this happened to me once in roughly 14 hours of game play.

I have had NO lag, what so ever. No graphical glitches whatso ever.
A few sounds glitches have happened but thats when 3-5 people or, characters, speak over the radio at the same time while shooting occurs for them all. I dont mind this to be honest.
So, only sound glitch I have encountered is radio usage causing collapse when too many actions happens at once.

My multiplayer experience, yet only a few games, went flawless. No lag, no glitches, nothing.

What I miss is some more information in the menus etc, like for skills..it could have said you need "lvl 10" to unlock this, not just a big "lock" and you dont realize until later how it unlocks...by higher experience:-)

Also the weapons. On paper only a few is really strong.
But thats until I started to use the Revolver. On paper, it sais X this or X that. In practice, you 1 shot a light body type on a head shot, or you 2 shot a medium with body shots. Crazy gun.
But overall only a few guns stands out, should maybe be a little more difference on some. Like very high firepower to support the lack of firepower etc. But in the end, there still is around 6-7 guns that you use constantly I find.
I like playing both as heavy, medium or light. All three have their uses.
I hear people saying Heavy is no good.......have you even tried the heavy weapons? They are kick [censored]. The gatling is really bad, but the others are great. For my medic I prefer light body type, running left and right healing people up:-)

Repetative?: I remember when we played Counter Strike Beta and we only played 2, 3 maps. We loved it.
We dont want dozens of maps, we want to have a few extremly good maps that you learn by heart.
Cause tactics in FPS dont start until everyone knows the maps.
Even so, we have here 8 maps that is pretty nice.

Problem in MP so far is the choke points. It is a little too easy with 2 half brains of shooters to close a choke points.
Solution: Reason I leveled a medic, most seems to be engineers. Adrenaline rush on medium or heavy soldier while me as light medic rushes past. Good luck trying to "choke" this....
There are solutions in this game even to counter a strong choke hold.
2 medics with adrenaline rush and being super ready to heal while those infront spread lead.....One among many.

All in all, I find the game great.
I just hope there will be 8vs8 matches on Xbox soon, but for now Im even content playing against bots, just leveling my characters.

I should say that I have the latest Xbox version out there, if that makes a difference.
And of course I saved the game to my hard drive.

I dont understand alot of the complains that goes around. And now that I finally tried the game...for me, it runs smooth.
Some video and graphical fixes, minor sound fixes and all should be cookie cutter.

And last but not least: I kind of enjoyed the campaign. Im not much of a single player fan anyway unless a game made for it entirely, such as LA Noire for example (soon to be out).

Have fun guys and I hope the Dev team picks up and finish this product. A DLC or two down the throat and some fixes and this game is rock solid and probably the best shooter on the market.

you will love 8v8

the last few PC FPS ive played have been battlefield (2, 2142[my fave], bf:bc2) with many more players, i didnt think brink would be fun with only 8 people on a team but it never seems lacking in action (unless i get lost - which happens lol - im crap at learning maps!).

you will have a blast 8v8 when they fix it for consoles :)

glad you are enjoying the game

totally agree with the OP. Brink is the best console game I have played in years.

i think the last one that I REALLY enjoyed was HALO 2.

yeah there are a few glitches, and the multiplayer is a little laggy every once in a while, but it's playable, and the game is AMAZING. can't wait for the DLC tho, that will just put this game over the edge.
