An exploit in Oblivion i was wondering what they'll do with

... if you successfully hide it, how would they know you hid it?

This thread is pointless... what the OP describes is not an exploit.

If no one sees you steal something, the guards will not charge after you.
If they Know you stole something, and you Do hide it, they catch you but not what you stole... I didn't think it sounded Too ridiculous.

LOL guys are you serious? All this debate for no reason.

Don't tell me you haven't hit the reload button to avoid the jail thing and loose stats. hypocrites :)

Wrong. I never reload if I get caught, because my character class is a thief. I don't raid dungeons so there has to be some consequences if I botch a job.

Proud to say that in the last five characters I've played, I've only been arrested when a quest called for it. Each character had about 50 hours, most of which was "on the job".

You successfully hide it from them you have to pay double.

There's people complaining that the guards were already a bit too psychic in Oblivion, you know? This thread is basically asking for guards to be even more psychic...

It's no exploit. Real (Oblivion) guards aren't psychic.

Are you sure?
