Exploits: New ones

1) In Public Matches: Retriever 3 is JUST TOO GOOD---1) Maximum invincibility lasts much longer and in our spawn where the game continues to spawn regardless of enemy presence, a guy with Maximum Nanosuit running through your spawn is the equivalent of a COD Moab. You might as well just end the match with a Nuke at that point. Also Another issue with retiever 3 is that things net you dogtags that shouldnt. Killstreaks in Crysis ARE NOT SUPPOSE to contribute towards the next killstreak (that is CoD), and so what I'm seeing are players getting Swarmers after 4 kills and picking up doubles and triples with the Swarmer to get EMPs and the aforementioned Max Suit after only 9 Kills in a row. Retriever 3 also allows one to get dogtags from inside the Pinger for cheap and easy killstreaks. Since the Pinger wont be removed from public matchmaking, at least don't make it cheap by allowing Retriever 3 to be used from within the Pinger.

2) EMP Grenades - They are too good, and too strong, and they favor camping groups who can then chuck / spam them at building entrances pinning you in, or environments, completely cutting off navigation of the map. They also are too large in Area of Effect going all the way through a multilevel building from the ground up. EMP grenades are also kind of cheap in objective game types due to the ability to throw them at sites and then attack with a defenseless opposition.

3) Weapon balance is an Art and Science, and even better developers like Bungie have struggled to "master" it, so I'm of the firm belief that this game has been balanced to favor the vanilla version which compensates for the Auto Armor perk. When playing without Auto A, and not having Armor On, the game starts to feel like CoD in players' ability to kill across the map perched in buildings shooting from windows. Scar becomes a deadly Sniper. And most other weapons appear to be OP without AA, which then makes a game of people using Armor All the time, rather then turning it on pre-engagment. In Crysis 2, one didn't have to have their Armor ON when crossing a battlefield, they were able to run in power mode knowing that it wasn't going to be easy to kill across the map with semi autos, and burst fired rifles. Then there was the superior cloak which allowed flanking. This game feels too much like it favors camping, as a result of an inability to flank without being dropped by Scar and Takedowns / Grendels.

4) Surveillance 3 is a bugged perk - using it to not be tagged, is the main reason for its use in a competitive game. But it breaks the usual hit-detection causing point blank shots not to be registered. More on this soon (a Video of Proof). There seems to be delay in how the shot is registered. The module is giving you an "X" where a hit marker would appear, when you see the killcams after being killed by an enemy that you should have killed (that was also wearing Sur3), you'll notice that they took no damage.

5) Team Spawning is game breaking. You are either spawning with your team and rushing towards the enemies spawn, or you are being spawned trapped. The game doesn't do a good job of determining hostile presence and spawning at more favorable location. Also with 5-7 seconds of delay between spawn, you often be spawn killed while still selecting a new loadout

6) Splash Damage too large causing Cloak Glowing Effect too far from explosives. Cloak has been significantly nerfed in Crysis 3, but the worst thing is trying to snipe and being made visible by a grenade 50 yards away. For Example: I'm on the Tower of Hell's Kitchen glowing from grenades thrown at the ground below. It doesn't make sense.

I actually have not had ANY problems with your aforementioned points. Yes retriever 3 is a bit OP, but then again, that's the point. It is SUPPOSED to make getting kill streaks easier. This game was catered more towards new gamers rather than the Crysis "Vets" from the older titles, so you have to expect things like AA and Retriever. Not everyone is accustomed to running into battle with the nanosuit and dominating and that's why I think this game feels a little more "campy". I think once the game's connection issues and matchmaking have been dealt with, then and only then can we begin to discuss what is or what is not OP.

In baseball those that used steroids in the Steroid Era, are being given an asterisk next to their names. Similarly those that play with AA in Crysis3, and/or Retriever 3 and/ or XP boost are performing better in the leader-boards of XP, KD, Wins etc, than would be possible without these perks. Think about how many more undeserved kills someone gets with Retriever 3 compared to Auto Armor. It's more of a threat than AA is a public match setting.

Again, I have not yet had a problem with what you are speaking of. How do you know these kills are undeserving? If I were to go 30 - 3, with most of those kills being from killstreaks that I have earned, with or without R3, who are you to say that I do not deserve them? The point I am trying to make is, it's in the game for a reason. Call it a glitch/cheat/hack/exploit, but if it's there, people will use it. If this is becoming such a problem, why don't I see more people running with that particular setup? Granted, I run into AA a lot with gamers, but that is easily defeated, as is R3. The point of the game is to Adapt and that's exactly what you have to do in order to survive for more than a few seconds in this game. Lastly, why are leaderboards so important to people? If you have to struggle to get there, is it really worth it? I personally would rather go 1 - 100 and have fun whilst doing it, than struggle to climb the leaderboards for no reward. I'm afraid that this game will turn into (I hate to compare games like this) another Battlefield 3 with the amount of people currently complaining. You can't load the forums up without seein "THIS IS OP!" or "REMOVE FROM GAME IMMEDIATELY". The same thing happened for Battlefield and that s*** ruined the game for me. Do I still play it? Yes, but it's far from what it was on release day and not in a good way. Crysis 3 has amazing potential to become a great MP FPS with the right people behind it and lots of love and support from the community. As I said before, wait until the game is running smoothly before we call anything "OP".
Now, on another note; I would love to see your video regarding Surveillance, as I have yet to get to the third tier with that.

retriever is a waste of a perk in my eyes, as for the grenades being to op could argue an he grenade of lock on jaw or even c4 is OP, and for servailence being OP, not too sure i use it anyway so everyone can see who im shooting at so if they do run off they got my back.

team spawning is bad though! the amount of times i have spawned NOT even taken a foot forward and im being shot at.

I won't even talk about Retriever. I don't understand why it exists.

The whole purpose of making Killstreaks depend on dog-tags and not actual kills was to force the people out of hiding to collect the spoils, put themselves at risk to get the rewards. Retriever completely undermines that whole concept. I won't have it. It's wrong to even think about it.

Like... Jar-Jar Binks.
