So, Explorer, do you take it?

It may feel like a waste of perk slot but Explorer makes me realize that Mojave is larger than I thought it was. All this time, my view of Mojave is restricted in a straight line: Goodsprings, Mojave Outpost, Nipton, Novac, HELIOS One, REPCONN Test Site, Freeside, The Strip, Camp McCarran.

Side areas that I know includes only Black MT, Ranger Stations, Forlorn Hope, Cottonwood Cove, Bittersprings, Fort Hill, Nellis. Other than those areas, I never go anywhere else. Heck, I never knew there's something called Wolfhorn Ranch until Explorer told me where exactly it is, and I've passed that place for I don't know how many times.

And Fire Root Cavern, heh.

What about you?

Yup, I just took it again, while playing through FO 3 after a long, long hiatus. I did take it in the Mojave during one of my play-throughs, since I wanted to 100% explore OWB the 2nd time around.

You never came across Wolfhorn Ranch before? How often have you played through NV? LOL I think blind exploration is the best, during the first few play-throughs. I love to come across a new location. Well, not anymore, I pretty much know the Mojave too well by now LOL
