Exporting Root Collision Node

Post » Thu May 23, 2013 2:11 pm

Just quickly.

Been a while since ive modelled anything, but im sure I remember being able to name a mesh a certain name or prefix and it will automatically be exported as a root collision object.

I know how to do it within nifskope but im sure there was a more automated way.

Anyone know what im talking about?

Well, if you can find this out that would be cool. Currently I just transfer a mesh piece into the node manually.

Well i always just use one or more primitive meshes, a box or whatever. Add them all together without creating extra poly's. Name them COLLISION and then export it with the mesh as a whole. Then make the necessary changes in nifskope.

But when you’re modelling objects for an entire city tile set it gets to be a pita.
