extreme FPS dops when in 3rd person view : III

as soon as I switch into 3rd person view, I get like 1-2 FPS. switching back makes the game runs normal again. also, after I traveled to belmora, there seems to be a (female) npc walking around which causes the same thing to happen: looking at her makes the framerate drop to 1-2 FPS eventually causing a CTD.

Before troubleshooting framerate-related issues, remove MGE (it can hurt or change framerate in odd ways).

Also, get MWE out of there before it kills your saves permanently (MWE will corrupt saves and should not be used in-game anymore).

After that, try making a new character and testing third person. If it still lags there, then it's related to a mod or something. If it only effects your old character, then it's more specific to that save, and we can start looking more accurately.

alright, I've tried deactivating MGE and MWE, but the problem still persisted. afterwards I started a new game with both mods still deactivated and then the 3rd person slowdown vanished. but now, after traveling to belmora I get the same problem as described above: as soon as I lay my eyes upon this one particular girl, my game becomes a slideshow.I think I know who the culprit is though, because this time I've chosen a default face for my character. this was the only thing I did differently now when starting a new game (reactivating MGE had no effect).

I guess some face mod is making trouble and I think it's MCA which gives me the aforementioned errors during the initial loading process.

Try updating to the latest MCA if you don't have it. If you do, roll back a few versions and test it again. Also, make sure the installer you got wasn't corrupt and all the meshes are good.

breakthrough! deactivating shadows fixes the problem on every save. actually the whole game runs smoother now regardless how many npc's are visible. then it dawned on me: I opened MGE and deactivated the high freakin resolution shadows and now it works. sorry for my misleading assumption before (and thanks for your answers), although this still seems to be connected with custom faces. but I can live without high resolution shadows.

on the other hand, I still don't know why MCA is giving me all those errors. this part is also weird:

edit: ok, I'll try installing previous versions, although I'm kinda unhappy about using older mods :\

Warnings like "Not able to find Body Part" can be ignored.
They are from clothing made for BB, and cause no problems.
