So I started Fallout New Vegas today, and after a few seconds, something really weird happened. The screen faded to black and a very creepy growling sound started, Then the blackness would fade and I would be back to playing. But after about 5 seconds, the game would fade to black and make that sound again. If I use my Pip-Boy or open the wait menu when the screen isnt black, the screen wont turn to black and the sound wouldent play until I put the Pip-Boy away or I closed the waiting menu, I can also use the Pip-Boy while the screen is black. Can someone please explain to me what is going on?

It's probably your system acting up.. what are you playing on? Counsel or PC?

It sounds like your machine is haunted.

If you have a pc, uninstall then reinstall.
Make sure you have the system req.

I'm no comp expert, but it sounds like you have a file missing?

I would have said you're poisoned or drunk. But it might be system Req if you're on PC

I don't suppose you consumed a small square piece of blotting paper, A tiny small dot, or any strange liquid dropped into your mouth or eyes?
