An adventure game with TES most BA warrior using modern tech.? Hell yeah! It'll probably help a helluva lot with Vivec's semicryptic reference as to why Cyrus had caused the Hist to be angry with him.

With modern graphics? They never began developement of the game, they just produced a design document, are you suggesting that if they did start production now they may choose Redguard-era graphics? :D

I think a modern TES Adventures title could be a lot of fun, either developed in-house or licensed out. As long as the reviews didn't paint it as toxic I'd certainly get it and play it.

Like all games, It has the potential to be a master piece, Or an utter piece of crap. It realy depends on the game its self.

As a linear plotlined hack & slash game, I'd probably pass on it. As an open-ended "sandbox" RPG game set in Argonia, I'd start camping out in front of the game store tonight waiting for the eventual release......

had to read a Codex review of it first before buying it though.

Yeah, as long as it isn't on a mobile device that will become obsolete within a decade. :spotted owl:

You know, I'd even prefer it if Bethesda revamped Redguard. I didn't get to play that one, and from what I've heard, it won't run well on most modern operating systems. =/

Meh, I got Redguard to run pretty well on XP. Took quite a bit of jury-rigging, but nothing more complicated than tracking down already-written-out instructions and piecing them together to make it work on your rig.

XP 64-bit? >.< That's where I find all the wrenches get lobbed at me and my grand plans of TESdom.

Yes. In fact, I'm looking for the Eye of Argonia. The last guy I mentioned that to congratulated me and wanted me to leave his office, I'm not sure what that was about.

As long as it has another kick-ass intro comic written by MK, of course!

A comic version of his sword meeting with Vivec!

An action game set in the Elder Scrolls universe in which you incarnate a well designed character, that can become [uber, depending on your skills + Crysisesque graphics, due to smaller scale + Physics + Focused story + Black protagonist + Assassin's Creedesque sword fighting, with a few necessary tweaks + I don't suppose anyone would object to the addition of pistols... If only for the pirate theme? + Hand to hand grips and takedowns + Stealth? + Minigames?

"Yeah, fo' sho"

EDIT: I didn't explain how much this idea turns me on. I would love to play that game. Would prefer if it was made by another company though, leaving the "actual" games to Bethesda.

A game set in Black Marsh would be cool but i doubt we'd even get to play as an Argonian, you'd probably just have to slaughter them soooo... that would be a no factor for me.

I would definitely try, if its cel-shaded in the style of the comic, and the platforming has improved :P

if i had to kill an argonian id smash the game, throw the pieces into a fire, and throw the ashes into the nile. but i said yes anyways, id just run from the argonians and enjoy the awesome scenery of the black marsh

The sword meeting stuck me as occurring after the Eye of Argonia. But a continued story of Cyrus there would accomplish two things. One thing would be the chance to see Black Marsh. The second would be we continue to kick ass as the most BA character this side of TES.
